Pristine and elegant. I’ve been promising myself a visit for quite a while and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Right on the lakefront with all the toys it would be very family friendly.

Views from the house are amazing and the house has real character and interest. The house is clearly loved by the owners as a holiday home and it feels very comfortable. There is plenty of space and all the equipment we needed. Heating is fine during the day and extra heaters helped at night so no one was cold. Laundry is very easy to use and drier works well. There is lots to do within an hour of the house, we went skydiving, sledging and swimming in the thermal pools. Highly recommended for families or large groups to stay for a relaxing vacation.

Wonderful stay

The location right next to the lake is wonderful. We enjoyed the possibility of using the kayak. The parking space in front of the house was spacious. All appliances were working well and the house was very well equipped.

We had a really lovely weekend at the Lake House, it has everything you need plus more! It was warm, beds are comfy, plenty of bathrooms, loads of room for the family and soooo relaxing. An awesome spot. Totally recommend it.

A fabulous spot with all the water toys to please everyone. Stunning location and views, comfortable beds, well stocked cupboards. Would recommend it to anyone. While Taupo was frantically busy, Hatepe remained peaceful and private. Brilliant holiday thanks.

Lakehouse Holiday

We loved our stay at the Lakehouse. Having the lake as our backyard was picture perfect, the view is beautiful. We originally booked for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night because we loved it so much. Could have easily stayed longer! Would definately recommend. Just note that it is about a 20 minute essy drive into Taupo and no shops nearby. Plenty of nice places to eat in town when you get there. Overall, great stay!
