Quiet no exit road and easy access to beach just a short 1 minute walk. One main bedroom with separate lounge(which becomes the second bedroom) that has double and single bunks, separate bathroom. Covered in BBQ area and outdoor area. Plenty of parking.

Has Free to Air TV, extra fridge in BBQ area.

Sleeps up to 6 people - 1 King bed, 1 Double bed, 3 Singles

Note under kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen towels/sheets/tea towels/duvets/duvet covers/blankets.

Amazing spot

Great easy place, very clean and everything we needed to keep us comfortable, even in the middle of a tropical storm! Would definitely book again - so close to the beautiful beach and easy walks - we all loved it.

Great getaway

The accommodation was fine. The Bach had everything that you needed. I found having to bring your own linen and towels a bit of a bind. The beach is amazing and if you are looking for down time, this was the perfect place.

We were really happy when we turned up, it was as described and we loved the location near the pōhutukawas which is the only place on the beach with shade.It is simple and basic and a good affordable option for those who are happy to be bunking up with multiples in each room- there’s a lot of beds if you need them! Thanks for the stay.

Nice little place. Kitchen is a good size. There is one main bedroom, and the other bund beds were in the lounge. Great shaded outdoor area to hang-out in. We enjoyed our stay and worked well for us.

Fantastic classic kiwi batch

Batch is clean, tidy and simple. Everything in the batch worked as it should and it’s clear it’s well looked after. The batch is situated down a dead end road which is quiet and surrounded by lovely neighbors. Communication with the host was very easy and quick over the app. Checkin was clear and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Perfect!

Another happy family holiday in this well appointed bach. Once again, the covered outdoor area worked really well for us - with Summer 2023's weather dictating a few more indoor craft and activity days. Still lots of swimming, kayaking, exploring, fishing and ... no sunburn. Plenty of freezer space for our bounty from the bay - schnapper and kahawai caught just off the beach!

Misleading advert for bach

For some reason the only photo at booking was of an A-frame house which meant finding it a bit of a problem as the house number was not present which necessitated having to ask some locals. The photo on this page was not supplied.The bach is a good place for families to stay being clean, tidy and spacious. Not the most suitable if visiting Whitianga, Cooks Cove/Hahei beach or Coromandel town due to distance. Great place to bring a dog with the family.

A perfect Summer holiday spot

A well equipped bach in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the beach and the Waka Kai delivery drop-off point. The covered-in area was a relaxing outdoor lounge and in the balmy evenings, provided front row seats for the kiwi serenades from the pine forest ... a perfect summer holiday spot, thank you.

Great location with everything you need

Great location - easy walk to beach and along to the coffee van. Bach has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and outside covered seating area is great.
