Breathtaking position at Otama

A magic spot for couples , friends or family for a special holiday! Well equipped for al fresco eating and days on the expansive decks. The beach is two minutes walk and along with the swimming beach, there is a large lagoon for safe fun with the kids. Fishing off the rocks and nearby golf courses at Matarangi and Whitianga . The renowned Lukes Kitchen and cafe is 5 minutes over the hill for wood fired pizzas, coffee and live music. . This is a special spot easy and relaxing, secluded yet just 30 minutes from either Whitianga or Coromandel town
Special conditions:
Expectation is guests respect and leave the place neat and orderly, with benches wiped, dishes cleaned and put away etc, barbecue doesn't need the full works clean down - but should be scraped down and tidy (kiwi bach rules)

Smoking allowed outside only.
No pets.

Extras: Cleaning ($90 per stay);

Had a great 3 night stay. Weather was amazing and the property is so well appointed for views and beach access. The house was equipped with everything we needed and lots of nice touches, but not pretentious. Great communication from hosts and we appreciated them responding to our last minute booking. Property affords privacy and we frequently had the amazing beach to ourselves. We would definitely love to come back in the summer and would recommend for an idyllic restful break.

Our stay at Otama was amazing, the location of the house and the ocean views were absolutely spectacular. The layout of the house itself was one of our favourite things, everything you need and perfect bach size. The kitchen was great and the amenities were 10/10 from the cooking cutlery to the clothes racks and outdoor seating. Bbq was a hit also. It rained majority of our time but the house and location wasnt any less beautiful. 10/10 definitely coming back and highly recommend.

Perfect getaway

An amazing place to completely unwind. The view is spectacular, location idyllic and the house has everything you need to be completely self sufficient. This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful beach. Perfect bach. Amazing location

Our stay at Otama Bay for 10 days was idyllic. A really stunning east coast beach with great swimming. The beach house is located above the beach with panoramic views. The owners have thought of everything and the property is perfectly set up for a great stay. The host was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this as a holiday stay and will return someday!

We absolutely loved our stay in Otama. The view is incredible & much like another review said, we had planned to adventure round, but actually preferred to spend most of the time at the house. Communication was great, everything in the house was as stated in the listing. Am already thinking of when we can get back!

Incredible open view

Had a wonderful Labour Weekend at Otama. The internal living area is compact but furnished to work well (with good sized bedrooms and kitchen) and the massive deck and incredible view add both physical and mental space! Otama beach itself is stunning. Felt very lucky.

You would be hard pressed to find a better view. Typical bach style accommodation. The location is remote and such the beach was almost a private playground. Thanks for sharing your place. It was beautiful.

Best view on the Coromandel

Perfect location for Ōtama beach positioned equidistant between the two beach access points. This bach is light and bright with spectacular views of the sea from every window so no guess work on beach conditions. Mozzie nets mean your sleep is insect free on comfortable beds with good pillows. Stove, fridge and cooking equipment provided made self catering easy. Highly recommended.
