About this property

Completely remodel 2 story 1890 home with fantastic ocean and light house views. Up stairs is two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed and TV with internet services. Two bathrooms upstairs. One with tub, one with shower. Kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances . Living room has 65" TV with internet services, couch, love seat, two swivel rockers. Panoramic ocean view from inside house or off large deck. Sit and watch the whales (seasonal). Or the winter storm waves crash over the rocks of light house. Downstairs has one bedroom with twin beds, ocean view, laundry facilities, playroom and half bathroom. BBQer on site. Access to the beach with a spiral staircase just 100 feet out the front door. This home has stairs to entrance and exits. Not wheelchair friendly! No pets or service/ companion animals or smoking on the property. No exceptions! Fantastic Spot!

This house was so well equipped and comfortable, I wish I could replicate it everywhere we stay! The front door locking system was easy to access once we arrived and the main rooms have the lovely ocean views we were seeking. Thank you to the owners for thinking of guests during the remodel and making this spot a great launching pad for exploring the northern California coastline.

Best Vacation Rental in Crescent City

Your search has ended! Look no further...this is the perfect place to stay in Crescent City for location, beach access, views, and a beautiful, clean, well appointed home. We have rented many other places in Crescent City and this will be our go to moving forward. Communication with the owners was easy and friendly. Walking on the beach every afternoon, while watching the tide come in and go out, with the beautiful lighthouse views - it was ideal. Perfect in every way - I wish we could have stayed a month.

Spring Break

Seaside offered everything and more for our 3 night stay. We knew that it would be raining for most of our vacation but were not expecting the wind. The wonderful view from the house made for a relaxing cozy place to watch the waves.

Perfect Quiet Get Away at Ocean

Wonderful, quiet neighborhood in Crescent city with easy access and gorgeous views of the battery lighthouse this home had everything you need and more to enjoy a nice quiet getaway. Close to great trails in the Redwood national Forest.

These people are amazing. They have thought of every detail that might make your stay more enjoyable and just easy. They even offered to take us to my now favorite tree that was just a gem. They had so many tips for entertainment and dining. We will be back!!!!

Beautiful home & amazing view

We were in town for basketball tournament and wanted a comfortable spot to be able to relax and also enjoy the view. This home was perfect! Not only does it have a great view of the ocean and lighthouse but it has beach access directly across the street. Also plenty of off street parking and a nice lawn area too. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The beds, linens and towels were all very comfy. Downstairs the ceiling is a little low but is ideal for kids! Excellent stay and will definitely return!

Worth Every Penny and More!

This property is absolutely perfect in every way! Beautifully decorated, high end kitchen cabinetry, fully stocked. There is everything you need to be able to cook a full meal including spices and even some snacks like popcorn, macaroni and cheese, canned soups. The home is immaculate and every attention to detail has been put into it. The view from the living room is second to none with spectacular sunsets and a lovely rocky beach to take a walk on. My husband and I have stayed at dozens of rental properties over the years and this home is at the very top of our list! Spend the money, you won’t be sorry!

September to Remember

This is the most amazing place. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The home very clean and is perfectly located with a stunning view of the ocean and lighthouse. Just steps from the water, exploring the beach as the tide permits is very easy. This is one of the best VRBO stays we have had. Highly recommended

Beautiful house

We felt like we were in a luxury place as soon as we stepped in the door. The owners did not cut corners in the build, decor and amenities. We had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

We had a fabulous time at the vacation property

We had a wonderful time at Crescent City. We visited the Redwood National Forest, Kayaked the Smith River, saw the Battery Point Lighthouse, and swam in the ocean at the Crescent City beach. One challenge we faced with this location is that it is a bit hard to get to. Medford, OR was the closet airport that we could access, so there was a lot of driving. Overall this was an amazing stay, and it was clear that the hosts put an enormous amount of energy into updating it inside and out. Thanks!

The property was super clean and had thought of everything a person might need or forgotten. There was toys for the kids, board games and beach toys too. The coffee bar was so nice!

Redwoods Trip

We spent four days and nights at the house to be close to the Redwoods. It's very close to the major hiking trails. The house was fantastic. All the amenities were very well organized. VERY CLEAN. We would stay there again and again. The beach front view is AMAZING!!!

Family Time

At this location in Crescent City, our family easily accessed Redwood Parks, kayaking opportunities, and the ocean. Public access to the beach is across the street. This is an exceptional property with many amenities, including space that allowed us to gather and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals together and gather in the living room to enjoy each other's company. The space is well-decorated with many modern amenities.

Great for a Family

We had such a great stay here. The views from the house were so beautiful and relaxing. We loved it. The house was fully stocked for kids and a baby - toys, crib, high chair, etc. That was so helpful. We’d love to stay here again someday.

Best VRBO Ever

This is the best houseI have ever stayed in and I've stayed in quite a lot over the years. Best stocked house from the kitchen, bedrooms laundry and bathrooms. A room downstairs just right for kids to hang out and entertain them selves. The view was spectacular and across the street easy access to the beach. I googled/Zillow the address of this house and was surprised how much work was done to it, not even the same house, brand new!!!

We ( my husband , myself with Mother and father n law) bought the property late in Sept of 2018. The four of us have flipped a few houses together in the past. This was a big undertaking for us. Mark was still working and so was Jim. Louise and I are both retired. Mark has since retired in January of 2020 and we opened the house up as Vacation Rental in July of 2020. Jim still is working as a realtor

Why they chose this property

As they say, location, location, location, this house had all three. They only thing keeping us from moving in was we would all four be living there together and Its not big enough for us all.

What makes this property unique

We are located in a very quite neighborhood with access to the beach very close. Unobstructed panoramic views. The house was build up so this gives height to looking out over us and the ocean bluff.
