Completely remodel 2 story 1890 home with fantastic ocean and light house views. Up stairs is two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed and TV with internet services. Two bathrooms upstairs. One with tub, one with shower. Kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances . Living room has 65" TV with internet services, couch, love seat, two swivel rockers. Panoramic ocean view from inside house or off large deck. Sit and watch the whales (seasonal). Or the winter storm waves crash over the rocks of light house. Downstairs has one bedroom with twin beds, ocean view, laundry facilities, playroom and half bathroom. BBQer on site. Access to the beach with a spiral staircase just 100 feet out the front door. This home has stairs to entrance and exits. Not wheelchair friendly! No pets or service/ companion animals or smoking on the property. No exceptions! The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If your family played games or puzzles, box up and put back making sure all pieces are back in boxes.
Turn down heat. Both upstairs and downstairs if you turned on the either heat.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Pets. this includes service/companion animals. No tampering with any electronic equipment. No more than 12 people on property at one time!!!
No cooking crab in/on property. takes weeks to get the smell out. If you have crab let us know. We will try and help with assisting get it cooked.
Kids of all ages are counted in the max of 6 people. Quite time is 10pm . Company after 11pm will be counted as overnight guess. No smoking/vaping.

The views were stunning, ate breakfast while watching the lighthouse. The house is cozy, warm and was perfect for a girls weekend. Loved the coffee bar and the electric blankets on the beds. Great location to the State Parks for hiking.

My husband and I had a wonderfully, peaceful visit. The light house view was amazing and it was a short walk across the street to a spectacular sunset! The house was beautiful and I loved seeing the before and after pictures in the coffee table book. They did an amazing job on the remodel. We had the privilege of staying in this absolutely beautiful house in Crescent City while celebrating New Year's Eve, and it was a true treat from start to finish.The house is spotless and clearly cared for in every possible way. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with quality appliances, utensils, and thoughtful details that made it feel like a real home rather than a rental.The views are spectacular. Watching the wild Pacific, dramatic storms, and surprise high tides from the house was a joy. The lighthouse and rocky beach create a view that never gets old, especially over New Years.At low tide, the tide pools were incredible. We spent hours exploring ocean life up close, including huge starfish, mussels, and all sorts of living sea creatures. It felt like a natural aquarium right outside the door.The location is ideal, allowing you to easily mix beach walks with trips into the Redwoods. The hosts were excellent and incredibly friendly, offering great local recommendations. We also loved the photo albums showing the complete makeover of the house. It was fun and fascinating to see.These comments come from two grandparents, our daughter, and a very happy thirteen-year-old. We would absolutely rent this house again and recommend it without hesitation. Some vacations are nice. This one was special.

We ( my husband , myself with Mother and father n law) bought the property late in Sept of 2018. The four of us have flipped a few houses together in the past. This was a big undertaking for us. Mark was still working and so was Jim. Louise and I are both retired. Mark has since retired in January of 2020 and we opened the house up as Vacation Rental in July of 2020. Jim still is working as a realtor

Why they chose this property

As they say, location, location, location, this house had all three. They only thing keeping us from moving in was we would all four be living there together and Its not big enough for us all.

What makes this property unique

We are located in a very quite neighborhood with access to the beach very close. Unobstructed panoramic views. The house was build up so this gives height to looking out over us and the ocean bluff.
