An updated and refurbished guest suite located in the sunny Western Bay of Plenty with beautiful bush walks, cycle trails, native bird life, pristine beaches, and an all-tide launching ramp right here at Tanners Point. With stunning views (any time of year) and close-by access down to the water, you can be assured of a restful stay, with access to shops and eateries only 10-15 minutes away. The suite has a separate bedroom and ensuite, living area with queen size sofa-bed, kitchenette, private deck and BBQ.
An excellent location just off State Highway 2, just 15 mins from Waihi Beach and 45 mins to Tauranga, so situated well for easy access to tourist destinations such as:
* Waihi historic Gold-mining area, Karangahake Gorge
* Waikino historic train ride
* Hobbiton (Lord of The Rings movie set) approx 1 hour drive
* Rotorua - (cultural and geo-thermal attractions) approx 1 hour 30 drive

Fabulous location. Nice location with friendly hosts.

Perfectly met our needs, clean and tidy with nice furhishings. We are quiet people and enjoyed relaxing on the deck with takeaways and a glass or two of wine. Perfect get away for a couple or two ladies travels as there was a pull out sofa in the studio as we as a very delicious comfortable double bed. Thanks Gill and Neil we had a thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A Haven of Peace

I'm not sure I want to share details of this lovely apartment because we like it so much!! So comfortable with everything you could need plus an amazing view and wonderful hosts who made us so welcome. It is so peaceful waking up to the sound of the tui and to watch them flying around. In the future, this will definitely be our bolt hole from the city.
