What an outstanding place & location. It is quiet, peaceful & yet still close enough to everything you need. Its warm, cozy & homely.We loved having the animals visiting & watching the cows & horses. The hosts are lovely & Simone is super helpful & welcoming. Can't wait to stay again.

Lovely stay

Sadly due to a medical event my husband and I could not stay at Gayle’s but my daughter and her partner got to stay and loved it. Beautiful accommodation in a lovely surroundings, we hope to book again and get to see it for ourselves.

Wonderful Holiday!

We enjoyed and love the place. Waking up each morning seeing the sun rises, horses eating and the peaceful surroundings is worth staying away from the busy life in Auckland.

One of the best farm stay, its extremely beautiful with all the nature surrounding you. And at the same time had all the modern-day facilities to make the stay comfortable. The house was very pretty and cozy, everything was clean and tidy and had every essential require for holiday. The farm itself was amazing our daughters loved to walk around the property and explore, got excited with all the animals specially the cat. The host was very welcoming and reply to our query promptly and help to make our vacation very enjoyable and relaxing. Will definitely love to stay again in further.

So relaxing

This location is ideal when you just want quietness around you. I really enjoyed the stay with my friends there. We went on hike on the same day and it was just an ideal location to relax and it is not that far from the city. Thanks a lot that we could stay there

Relaxing weekend away

Not the best weather but the accommodation made it even more enjoyable. Cosy inside and lovely outlook. Very quiet, birdsong and animal sounds. Just the place I needed. Owner was very friendly and offered lots of suggestions on things to do and where to go. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A Comfortable country stay

A really nice place with a open patio to relax in, it's sunny and has great views. We frequent here often and think it's the best accommodation in New Plymouth. 10/10.

Fabulous comfortable property. Friendly hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble (they even helped us out with jumper leads and offered a battery charger for the day when we ran into car trouble). Thanks so much.

Rural idyll

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very warm and comfortable with a lovely rural outlook. We enjoyed opening the French doors onto the sunny patio. It was 10-15 minutes easy drive into NP.

Family trip

Both Te Awa and Te Maunga units are modern, cosy and have everything you could possibly need for a getaway. The views and surroundings are spectacular and peaceful. The hosts are lovely and it was great being able to spend time with their dogs, cat and horses. We will definitely be back.
