Great Family Get Together

Awesome property for our fist family get together in 5 years. Plenty of space, so beautifully quiet and fabulous scenery. Did not want to leave!

Perfect house for small group of family & friends to celebrate a 50th Birthday. Had an evening meal catered for by a local chef that was incredible. Host went above & beyond with all requests. Would highly recommend to others.

Magical weekend away!

Geoffs place exceeded expectation in every way! The views unreal, had everything we needed and some! Great space to entertain, cook, relax, stream right off the back lawn for a dip, walking distance to piha. Will be back again 100%

Nothing short of magnificent

The pictures don’t do this property justice, the beauty is beyond words. The house accommodates large groups perfectly. There’s so much room to spread out in the home, plenty of toilets and showers for everyone! And the kitchen was perfect for gathering and cooking. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back.

Beautiful place in a beautiful land

The stay was amazing and all was great. The laundry was $5 NZL for wash and $5 NZL to dry. This would have been great to know before hand but it was fine. This was the only con and was not really a con just would have liked to have known before hand. The house was very well stocked with dishes and appliances. It was a great stay. Highly recommend

Wonderful!

An amazing place for our family reunion -spacious, relaxed, comfortable, clean all in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was excellent with everything we could possibly need, including 2 large fridges! The wonderful fireplace with a plentiful supply of wood, a comfortable area for TV and games, and a large dining table look out to the spacious deck and lawn area through large sliding glass doors. The children loved exploring the creek, playing on the 2 trampolines and feeding the chooks. The bedrooms are smallish but each one has doors opening to the deck. Bathrooms were plentiful and clean. Geoff was a fantastic host. We all enjoyed a fabulous week.

Family birthday reunion

If you need to accommodate a good size family then this fine. Peaceful environment. However a couple of things was a negative for us. Considering the money we paid one would expect a coffee machine so we could make coffee. Probably the most annoying feature was SKY. We were all settling in for a good rugby event and had it starting on Sky. However we kept getting bump of because of too many users. As we were the only one on the house one must assume that the owner was also using this same access and knocking us off. This was most annoying and very disappointing.

I have rented this property on three occasions already this year and made several recommendations to colleagues. It is perfect for a large group, great facilities, spacious kitchen and living area and great outdoor area. Geoff is great to deal with, always prompt and very accommodating.

Awesome beach weekend!

Geoff's property is so beautiful and such a great location for large groups. The check-in/out is easy and the place is full of games as well as hiking recommendations to keep you busy. He is super friendly and everything was as good or better than expected!

The house is well thought out for multi- generational sleeping. Warm and homely. Good communal and outdoor spaces. Lovely NZ bush location - not far from beach and near to Kite Kite waterfall. Friendly hosts.

Thank you so much, Geoff and Family. Thank you for allowing us to visit your lovely home. Thank you for making it so simple to communicate. The rooms were amazing, the kitchen was enormous (we had three people cooking at the same time), and the back porch was secluded and tranquil. It was like stepping into a little slice of heaven. Perfect Group Getaway

Management Team Retreat

Fantastic property in a great secluded location but still very close to the beach and other beautiful walks. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was a key attraction and the lounge, dining area were great for a large group gathering. Geoff was fantastic with his communication, always responded to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this property.
