Groovy on Grey sits in leafy, central Glenholme, a quiet suburb just minutes from Rotorua's city centre - a great balance of convenience and charm. There's a lovely bistro, Urbano, up the road for a morning coffee or brunch, and Kuirau Park, with its free geothermal pools and foot baths, is close by. You're minutes from everything: Te Puia's geysers and living Maori village are four minutes away, the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa and the cafes, restaurants and shops of central Rotorua about six, and the Whakarewarewa Forest and the Redwoods, with their walking and mountain-bike trails, around eight. Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are roughly twelve minutes away on the western side of town.



Getting Around:

You're central enough to reach most of Rotorua in a few minutes. Te Puia is four minutes away, the lakefront and city centre around six, the Redwoods forest eight (hop on a bike or take a short drive), and Skyline, Zorb and Canopy Tours about twelve. Rotorua Airport is around twelve minutes. There's a garage and off-street parking, and buses, taxis and rideshares are easy to pick up from this central spot.
