Accommodating 6 guests, this vacation home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It offers water views and a patio for outdoor enjoyment. Engage in onsite motorboating and birdwatching, or explore kayaking and fishing nearby. The property is pet-friendly and centrally located near Poochie's Park and the Strand Theater Site.
Creekfront 3BR with private dock and boat ramp - launch your kayaks, fish from the dock, then relax on the shaded upper deck or around the creekside firepit. Comfortable for families or small groups: sleeps 6 (king, queen, two singles), open living and lower-level game area for evenings together. Pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs under 25 lbs; pet cleaning fee applies (shown at booking) and dogs must have topical flea/tick treatment 3 days before arrival and must be disclosed.
Open-concept living area with a fireplace, Smart TV, and high-speed WiFi - a central gathering spot where families or small groups can relax, stream shows, and plan creek outings. The living space flows into the fully equipped kitchen and dining area set for six, so meals and board games stay part of the same open zone rather than split across rooms. The main living level is elevated, so stairs are required to reach it.
There’s also a lower-level game area with a pool table and dartboard. For evenings by the water, Adirondack chairs stored under the house are available for the creekside firepit, letting groups spread out between indoor comfort, the deck, and the lower-level games.
Fully equipped kitchen and dining for up to six guests so meals are easy to plan and share: the open-concept layout keeps the cook in the conversation with the living area and fireplace, and the dining table seats six for casual family dinners.
Shaded upper deck with bar seating and a large TV overlooks Black Creek, making it a natural spot for grilling or breakfast with a view. The BBQ grill stays in its spot on the mat to protect the deck; one propane tank is provided. For evenings outdoors, there is a creekside firepit with chiminea and Adirondack chairs stored under the house - we do not supply firewood but it can be purchased locally.
Shaded upper deck with bar seating and a large TV - relax with creek views while you grill, eat, or watch a game outdoors. The BBQ sits on the deck mat and uses the provided propane tank; we monitor its level and will provide one "in the green" but you may need to refill it if it runs out. The deck connects the main living area to the water so you can move easily from the kitchen to outdoor dining and back inside for a movie or a meal.
Private creek access with a ramp, dock and creekside firepit - spend mornings on your kayaks or paddleboards and evenings around the fire. The onsite ramp and dock support launching small boats, kayaks and paddleboards right here; if you bring a larger trailered boat, you can park your trailer on the property and use the Main Street public boat ramp one mile away to launch. The boat lift is not available for guest use, and there are spots to secure your watercraft to the side or in front of the ramp during your stay. Gazebo with chiminea, Adirondack chairs stored under the house, and a lower-level game area make it easy to move from boating and fishing to relaxed nights outside with friends or family.
Primary bedroom with a king bed and an in-room Smart TV; a second bedroom offers a queen bed and its own TV; the third bedroom has two single beds (bunk style) and a TV, so families or groups can split into distinct sleeping areas without crowding.
Guests regularly praise the house for its cleanliness, and the bedrooms reflect that attention to detail, making it easy to unwind after time on the creek or at the firepit. The arrangement and furnishings are practical and straightforward, designed to support restful sleep and easy routines during your stay.
Two bathrooms make it easy for groups to get ready without the rush: less waiting, more time for coffee and creek plans. An on-site washer and dryer mean you can rinse out or refresh clothes during longer stays.
Direct creek access and a private boat ramp let you head out for fishing, kayaking, or paddleboarding, then return to the shaded upper deck with bar seating and large TV for relaxed afternoons. Evenings come together around the creekside firepit or in the lower-level game area with a pool table and dartboard, making the house a great fit for families, small groups, and up to two dogs under 25 lbs.
Creekfront, wooded setting on Black Creek - direct creek access and an on-site ramp make launching kayaks, paddleboards, or fishing simple right from the property. About a 40-minute drive from Jacksonville for more restaurants and attractions, with the Main Street public boat ramp roughly 1 mile away for trailered boats. Expect native wildlife and country sounds like nearby roosters; the location works well for families, small groups, and up to two dogs under 25 lbs.
Please note: Turning in, you may park on the driveway along the house. **This property is in a very wooded area along the Black Creek - so there will be a variety of native Floridians about - from birds, squirrels, bugs, and maybe a raccoon from time to time. There are critters in the Black Creek as well! Please keep that in mind. And, since we are in the country, you will hear some roosters & chickens that are nearby too! The water is well water.
**Parties / Gatherings / Events over our noted occupancy are strictly prohibited - as noted in the rental agreement. Penalties will be enforced. The property is monitored by Minut / Noise Aware as noted in the booking agreement. There are exterior security cameras in the front facing the entry, driveway, underneath facing the parking area and also in back facing the dock area and water and at the back stairs/entry to the home. The cameras help us monitor the property security, boat ramp, water levels and parking because the house is on stilts along flood-prone Black Creek.
**No Smoking Inside or on any of the deck areas of the home. If smoking is done by the firepit/in the yard - please properly dispose of the waste and do not ash or litter butts on the patio, area under the house or anywhere on site. If evidence of that is found, an additional fee will apply for cleanup.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy and quiet rental. The grounds were clean and the deck, including the dock, was also clean and the wood looked new. The inside of the house was pristine and plenty of room for the 4 of us. We will definitely be back!
The property was very nice. Had a good time. What I didn’t like was the amount of video cameras around the property. Did not feel very private. My family including grand kids being filmed and watched in bathing suits is not right! No cameras inside the house that I saw, but everywhere else is being watched.

Thank you for staying with us! We're glad you had a good time and enjoyed our creekfront home.
We understand concerns about privacy. For full transparency, our listing clearly states: “There are exterior security cameras in the front facing the entry, driveway, underneath facing the parking area and also in back facing the dock area.” These are exterior cameras only — none inside the home.
The cameras help us monitor the property, boat ramp, and parking because the house is on stilts along flood-prone Black Creek. We disclose this upfront so every guest knows exactly what to expect before booking.
We’re always happy to answer any questions prior to reservation. We appreciate the feedback and look forward to hosting future guests!
Thanks!

Lovely, freshly updated house right on the creek. The house was perfect for our needs. Inside was well appointed and the outside facilities were perfect (firepit, gas firepit, propane grill) and the location right on the creek was so peaceful.Would stay here again for sure. Communication was great. Inquiries were answered quickly. I requested later checkout as our departure flight was later in the day and they got us 11:30 which was so helpful.Five stars all the way!!

This was one of the better places we have rented via VRBO. It was very clean and extremely accurate against the listing. It was well appointed with the plates, silverware and everything needed to cook at home. The sofa, loveseat and beds were really comfortable. We liked that we could bring the dogs with us for a reasonable fee, and the property / lot was good room for the dogs to get out and do their business. The water front location was so good but we did not take full advantage of it. :( the back deck was great and the ice machine was a nice surprise as it was so hot we needed to ice. The pool table down on the area under the house was fun to play on at the end of the day. Only a short 8 minutes drive away was a Publix supermarket, and some restaurants. The hosts were very responsive and easy to get a hold of. We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting friends and we would definitely rent this VRBO again.
