Welcome to Bittner Manor — a beautifully restored 1840s stone farmhouse just outside Stratford, Ontario. Relax in the outdoor hot tub, nap in the hammock, or gather around the campfire under the stars. Set on nearly two acres with blooming hydrangeas and a budding orchard, it offers peaceful countryside charm with modern luxury. Events and weddings are welcome by request with prior approval with deposit.

Six bedrooms with nine beds comfortably sleep up to 16 guests.
The main-floor master suite features a cozy gas fireplace, ensuite with clawfoot soaker tub, double-head shower, double vanity, and heated floors.
Upstairs, the second-floor suite includes a private ensuite with a standing shower and pedestal sink.

A fully equipped gourmet kitchen makes preparing home-cooked meals effortless, with ample counter space and modern appliances for gatherings large or small.

A large, inviting living room offers space to relax, reconnect, and share memorable moments with family and friends.

Relax in the 6–8 person hot tub with rejuvenating jets, ideal for stargazing evenings.

Ample on-site parking accommodates up to nine vehicles for added convenience.

This cherished retreat is my home away from home, lovingly shared so others can experience its warmth and history. Recently renovated, Bittner Manor retains its timeless character and authentic 1840s charm.

Guests have full access to the entire house and nearly two acres of private grounds, including gardens, outdoor seating areas, and the hot tub.

While guests have full access to the home and surrounding grounds, please note that the basement, workshop, loft, and third garage bay are private areas and not accessible to guests. We kindly ask that all guests respect these private spaces during their stay.

🌿 How Our Pricing Works at Bittner Manor

Bittner Manor is priced as a private estate, not on a per-room or per-person basis.

When the home is reserved, guests enjoy exclusive use of the entire property, including:

A historic manor home that comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests

Nearly 2 acres of private grounds to relax, gather, and celebrate

A fully equipped chef’s kitchen, ideal for group cooking, catered dinners, or private chefs

Spacious common areas designed for connection — not crowded bedrooms

Outdoor spaces for dining, lounging, and enjoying the countryside just minutes from Stratford

When divided across a full group, the cost typically works out to about $117 per person, per night (all-in), which includes cleaning, taxes, and platform service fees.

For many groups, this ends up being less than a hotel stay, while offering far more space, privacy, and the ability to gather together under one roof.

We don’t adjust pricing based on the number of guests because the entire estate is reserved exclusively for your group, and our costs remain the same whether the home hosts a smaller gathering or a full group.

The Nitty Gritty

To ensure Bittner Manor remains a beautiful and welcoming retreat for everyone, please review the following house rules carefully before booking:

Cleaning:
A $400 cleaning fee applies if the property is left excessively cluttered or requires deep cleaning beyond standard turnover — including the hot tub.

🚭 Smoking:
Smoking is permitted outdoors only on designated decks.
A $400 fee will apply for any indoor odors, burn marks, or cigarette butts found on the property.
An outdoor ashtray is provided and must be used.

Events:
All events and gatherings require prior approval.
Unapproved events will result in immediate cancellation and removal. Please reach out in advance if you wish to host a celebration.

Sleeping Arrangements:
For comfort and safety, air mattresses and sleeping bags are not permitted — no exceptions.
All infants and children must be accurately included in your booking count.

Nature & Wildlife:
The property is surrounded by countryside, so insects and wildlife may occasionally be present. We do our best to minimize their presence, but complete removal isn’t possible.

Pet Policy
• Pets must be declared at the time of booking, or a $400 fee will apply.
• Pets must be housebroken.
• Keep pets off beds and furniture — pet blankets are provided for cozy cuddles.
• Please clean up after your dog using the supplied waste bags.

Weddings at Bittner Manor

Bittner Manor provides an unforgettable setting for intimate celebrations.

To ensure a comfortable and respectful experience for all guests and neighbors, the following guidelines apply:
   •   Minimum stay: 3 nights for all wedding bookings
   •   Maximum on-site capacity: 30 guests (including both day and overnight visitors)
   •   Overnight accommodation: Up to 16 guests permitted inside the home
•   Parking: Maximum of 10 vehicles permitted on site; alternative transportation will be required for additional guests
   •   Event approval: All events must receive prior approval before booking confirmation
