The coffee maker is a little finiky, but it is nice and kozy. We liked it. 4 men stayed in the property for 2 nights to visit Oaklawn Park for the Arkansas Derby.

The house had a good layout and was easy to get to. It was about a 5-10 minute drive to Bathhouse Row, but the area the house was in was a bit run down. The sheets and towels were clean. There were some dirt and grime, but fine for the nightly price. The shower head does face the wall of the shower which was a bit unusual. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that there were some games for our kids to play.
House was clean for the most part. It’s definitely an old house and could use some refreshing but it was just fine for what we needed it for - a decent location, plenty of space for us to unwind and unpack, with comfortable beds. There were a few spiders but nothing majorly scary. Street has a lot of traffic and it gets loud.
We stayed in the King bed room & it was very comfy. If you are an antique/thrift store fan there are many shops at the end of the block & a cupcake shop too. Enjoyed our stay, centrally located.

Great spot to explore Hot Springs
Nice house, feels much larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Quick 5- to 10-minute drive to about anywhere. Would definitely recommend to anyone heading to Hot Springs for the first time.
It was centrally located to many things and the main reason we picked this location. It is an older home but we enjoyed it. Several time we killed earwigs inside, not ideal, but I think it’s just the area. Home was clean and provided the basics.

From the owner: “Dear Ashleigh, thank you for your review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! I'm sorry to hear about the earwig issue. We will look into this right away."
The hosts were very nice and helpful, close by in case of emergencies too! The home was larger than the pictures show, which was a nice surprise! We had plenty of room to relax, play one of the many board games, and dine at the large family table. My favorite part of the home was that the owners kept original historical attributes, such as the original hardwood floors and old antique door furnishes on the closets.

From the owner: "Hello Megan. Thank you so much for your review! I'm happy you enjoyed your stay and would love to host you again on your next visit to Hot Springs!"
Vacation with my daughters for a rockhounding adventure. The property was as described. House was cozy and nicely decorated.Could have used a little cleaning on the baseboards, bathroom door and wainscotting. These were just small things that didn't affect our stay.
It was perfect for us with the layout for the parents to be close to the kids in the next room and the grandparents didn't hear anyone while sleeping. The kitchen was easy to use--we were ok that there was no dishwasher as drainers were provided. The location was GREAT!! Very quiet neighborhood. The table was a great size for serving meals and eating around without anyone being squished up. There were TVs in all the bedrooms besides the nice living area which was a huge plus! We would use again.

4th of July weekend
Did not receive a message from the host about check in. Had to call VRBO to get check in code. No communication from the host. The location was a little lively and loud… neighbor has loud dogs that sound aggressive but they are kind. The neighbor is kind it’s just not a quiet location. The house has no way of circulating the air conditioning so it was a little uncomfortable for sleeping. The first night we put the air on 68 and it didn’t reach that temperature until almost 11pm. My parents and husband had trouble falling asleep. The next day we turned the air up to 73 since it would be hot, and that night around 8pm we lowered temp to 68 and it took forever to cool down. At 10:40 it was at 72 and was saying it was going to take 2 hours to get to 68.My parent wound up getting a hotel room and took the kids… the decor is cute but very limited on cookware and utensils too. Also the coffee pot was not cleaned out from the last guests.

Hi Chasity, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:– Evolve sent the check-in instructions to the email address provided in your booking details three times before your arrival, and they were also available in the Vrbo app for easy access. We always recommend guests check their inbox, spam folder, and the app before arrival to ensure nothing is missed.– Some noise during a holiday weekend is to be expected and is beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and are glad to hear the neighbors were kind.– The A/C is relatively new, and while it does deliver cool air, it can take longer to cool the home on extremely hot days, which is normal.– We’ve stocked the kitchen with essentials—including cookware, utensils, dishware, and silverware—and we’ve reminded our cleaner to double-check the coffee pot before each new guest arrives. Thanks for your feedback as we work to keep raising the bar for future guests.
