From Dingies to Shrimp Boats to true Yachts gliding by on the intracoastal waterway - you will see them all from this amazing vantage-point home. Why not bring your own boat and enjoy not having to launch every day of your vacation. With expansive open living areas and six bedrooms, this home has room for family reunions and corporate or church retreats. The refreshing, decked pool is nestled in one of the largest fenced yards on the island that allows ample space to run, play some football, or maybe even strike up a good ole game of corn hole. The location is in the heart of Holden Beach with the beach access, community park, basketball courts, Sunday Night Concerts, several restaurants - all within a short walk. Upon entering the homes first level you will find a large laundry room, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedrooms one and two each have one queen bed and bedroom three has two queen beds. The middle and main living level has a spacious open den and kitchen area, dining room, sitting room and half bath. The fully stocked kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and plenty of seating for all. Also on the main level is the large master suit with its own private access to both the front and back decks and a luxurious bathroom with a claw foot tub and separate tile shower. Entering the top floor you’ll find another sitting area with TV, a secondary master with king bed that has access to an amazing upper level deck, a full bathroom and a large spacious bonus room with four twin and two queen beds. This modern, well appointed home will provide all you need to make your vacation dreams come true. The covered porches sport comfortable outdoor furniture that will beg you to sit, relax, and become - "A Yacht Watcher"! We can't wait to see you!

Our second year here. The house is huge with a great pool area and garage with lots of beach toys and an extra fridge. I do feel like whoever is cleaning this year is not doing as good of a job as last year. It’s a great house with great intercoastal waterway views - we just decided to go ocean front next year since we will have 2 under 2 for that trip.

GREAT HOUSE AND GREAT TIME!

Julie was fabulous and easy to work with! Our family has been doing beach trips for years and we all agreed this was our favorite house we have stayed in. The house was clean and had plenty of space for our large group. The view and location was perfect. Easy walk to beach and def love having a pool!

Great location and communication

We had a great time at Yacht Watcher and the owner was quick to respond to a leaky dishwasher (the only issue we had). The young adults in our group loved being on the ICW - we brought our paddle boards and the house had kayaks available. Great house for a large group.

Holden Beach - year 8

We have stayed in this home for the past 4 years of our 8 years at Holden. For our family, it provides everything we love-private dock, pool, close access to beach, Incredible amenities. We have never rented a home that has the perfect number of bedrooms, beds and personal space for everyone until we found this jewel! The new owner(s) have made so many wonderful upgrades and we all had a great time in the new game room. We hope to return to this home next year.

Perfect Location!

This house was perfect for our large and extended family. We were never on top of each other. There’s a large deck where everyone hung out in the evenings and we could hear the music from provision Company across the waterway. The pool was used every afternoon and we rented a golf cart to help with transporting coolers and chairs to the beach where we visited every afternoon before it got too hot, the house is immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. Rent this house - you won’t regret it.

Perfect Beach Vacation!

The perfect everything... Perfect location, especially if you don't mind not being at the beach. Perfect house that's loaded with everything you need in the kitchen, with pool toys, beach chairs, kayaks, and a bonus game/ arcade room. If you have a house full of teenagers and young adults like we did, it's got something for everyone. Never heard one complaint and they all want to come back next year. That goes for the adults too. I would definitely recommend a golf cart to make getting to the beach a little easier.

Great property with so much to do!

This was the perfect place for our first trip to Holden Beach. Our family of 15 had plenty to do, even during a rainy tropical storm week. We fished from the dock, spent countless hours on the porch (sometimes listening to the live music drift over from Provision Company), watched the boats go by, played ping-pong and cornhole, walked to the nearby park for basketball and Pickleball, visited the three nearby restaurants (all walkable), stopped by the candy store and slushie shop, and of course enjoyed the pool and beach. The house was well stocked: pack and play, highchair, boogie boards, beach chairs, pool toys, fishing rods… The kitchen had what we needed: crockpot, cookie sheets, pots and pans. And there is plenty of space to spread out. The main sitting room is spacious, and the decks have lots of seating. The kids in our crew loved the upstairs bedroom where they could all be together. There are a few minor items in need of repair, but the location and space can’t be beat. We would stay here again!

The house was beautiful, and perfect for our family. We loved the location. It was very accurately advertised. We would definitely book the very same house again. Just some small suggestions. There was only one or two of the bathrooms that had hand soap, and there was not enough toilet tissue. If it is not supplied, I would suggest that to be me noted so quests could come better prepared. Also, maybe I missed it, but I didn’t read where you supplied so many Beach chairs, umbrella , wagon boogie boards, etc for the beach. This is great, however, but we packed all that too. It is extremely nice that so much is there for guests to use, but it could save from packing so much if it is advertised. The refrigerator in the garage and sink were very dirty. I cleaned it before placing items in it We could not get onto WiFi , and I was informed by the downstairs guests that it was very warm at night. The thermostat was programmed to be high at night. All in all, it was a very wonderful experience.

Amazing Property

The house was amazing! Great location with lots of space for the family. Quiet area but lots to do nearby. Property Manager was super responsive, which made for a great start to the trip. We will definitely return to this house.

Great house with lots of perks!

Our extended family of 15 gathered at Yacht Watcher for a fun and enjoyable week - we took advantage of all the "toys" including kayaks, ping pong, pool, dock, fishing, game room and more! Great location near bridge with easy biking access to restaurants, candy shop, general store, coffee shop and slushies. Watching the boats float by was fun and entertaining. Beautiful sunset views too!

Amazing house location

This house is wonderful… plenty of things to do - from corn hole to ping pong, kayaks to the pool. Kids loved the proximity to the park and basketball court! The outdoor seating for watching boats was superb and a family favorite.

Multi Family Fishing Trip

The check in process was quick and easy. The property was clean and well maintained. The home layout seemed to have a lot of wasted space. The kids loved the heated pool that heated up quickly and felt like bath water in 50 degree windy weather. Great fishing off the dock and walking distance to multiple restaurants!!

Plenty of space, beautiful views

Our family of 16 stayed here for just a few nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The younger folks in the group enjoyed sleeping in the large room with multiple beds on the top floor. There was plenty of seating in the family room for football watching. We enjoyed watching the boats go by on the waterway. The kitchen was well-stocked. It was a short walk over to the beach, although it did take us a minute to figure out where the beach access was located. We had a nice stay and enjoyed the town of Holden Beach.

Family Vacatio

We decided to stay in Holden Beach for the first time. This house met all of our expectations and more. Julie is such a nice person and was so on top of everything we needed. The dock off the back yard was such a wonderful treat to have. We fished every day and caught so much fish. Boy is there a lot of different species of fish in the waterway. Our 12 year old son even caught a small shark right off the dock. Will definitely look at staying here again in the future!!

Why they chose this property

Hello! This house was purchased by our family in the summer of 2020. We have vacationed here several times and loved it so much we wanted it to be ours! We loved the unique open floor plan that you just do not see too often at a beach house. With the huge kitchen, large open living space, and many bedrooms and beds, it fit our large family perfectly! The views can not be beat and the fishermen in the family spend hours on the dock while the other kids splash in the pool. We hope that you enjoy Yacht Watcher as much as our family does!
