We visited Glacier National Park and stayed at this cabin for three days and also stayed at the Glacier Lodge for three days. We definitely preferred staying at this cabin because of the extra bedroom, the kitchen, and laundry. It was a very short drive to Glacier, and we would definitely stay here again.
The place has a very cool old school mountain vibe Check in was easy and very close to the west entrance to the park. It was just what I was looking for. 10 out of 10
Cozy Cabin Close to Glacier and Hungry Horse Reservoir
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a cozy place to cook dinner and breakfast before and after our trips into Glacier National Park during the day.
Cabins were very close to Glacier National Park as stated, beautiful cabin and assessories, charming and homey. The only 2 things negative I will have to say were that there were a lot of spiders. Spiders do not bother me and my family much though. But a warning for those who do not like a lot of spiders. It is an old cabin, so spiders are common. But there were quite a bit more than expected. And also, and this is a biggie... Whoever watches over the cabin or manages it needs to be aware of the dirtiness between customers for the floors. I do not have a toddler crawling on floors anymore, but for customers that do, it could be a safety hazard because there were a few big pieces of food underneath the dining table in the kitchen when we arrived. So my suggestion is that ALL floors need swept very well. Also, a lot of dust under the furniture and beds. The owner may not be aware of this. But I am hoping this reaches out. I tried to ask if I can make a suggestion, and I didn't get a reply about my suggestion or recommendation. But floors must be a lot better for safety of crawling babies or people allergic to dust. Thank you
Step back in time in this perfect log cabin. We loved our stay in Martin City! The cabin is decorated in the most charming, authentic way. We felt right at home immediately when we walked in the door. The quilts and blankets are beautiful - wanted to bring them all home with me. Great location for Glacier National Park. Close to Whitefish, and Kalispell (30 mins). There is nothing in Martin City to eat, but plenty close enough to other cities for groceries or dining. We made three meals during our stay, and had everything we needed to prepare. Would stay again and will recommend.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Overall the cabin has potential and the wall decor is nice, but there were several negative aspects. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable (even for a pull-out sofa) and not the same one as in the listing photo, the sofa sheets were dirty, a pillowcase on the main bed had a blood stain, the kitchen table was sticky all over (like it was poorly refinished), and the upper bunk bed had no safety railing for children. We changed the dirty linens the night we arrived, and the next day the host did offer to send cleaners, but it was not necessary by that point.

Cute cabin needs upgrades
Overall a decent place but with a few updates it could be much better. My main complaint would be the little room off of the main bedroom. It's a small child's room, not furnished for an adult, that has old bunkbeds. There were 3 of us, all adults. I don't mind a bunkbeds but the bottom bunk that I slept in was very uncomfortable due to a badly sagging mattress. It has a pullstring for the ceiling light and once turned off hard to locate in the middle of the night for an adult that needs to use the bathroom. The living room couch and chairs could stand to be replaced. I felt it was overpriced for what you got. We stayed in much, much better for the same or less money.
