We're glad the property itself made for a nice stay, and we appreciate the detailed feedback. We did let the guest know ahead of their arrival that a plumber was scheduled to address the slow-flushing upstairs toilet, and we followed up with the guest multiple times as the plumber's timeline shifted due to a family emergency, since finding available plumbers in our area can be difficult on short notice. We understand the delay was frustrating, especially with the upstairs sleeping most of the group, and we're sorry the repair wasn't completed during the stay. We were not made aware of any issue with the back door keypad, or we would have addressed it right away. We're always working to stay ahead of maintenance needs and improve communication so future guests have a smoother experience.

From the owner: We are glad that overall you had an enjoyable stay and found the property as advertised. We're glad everything was clean and spacious, and your family had fun. - We apologize for the communication issue. We checked with Evolve, and they advised you to contact the local guest contact for the late check-out approval. We did respond to your message, but it took us a while to get back to you. - Regarding the lake, it is approaching winter pool, which is about 8 ft lower than the summer pool. The odor is due to the fact that the lake is lower, exposing what was previously submerged by the water. The area is not known to have a lot of dead fish washing up, and they usually don't contribute to the smell. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
