Beautiful new home at Kentucky Lake with community pool! Close to Murray State!

Welcome to Heron's Rest! Our new single-story home on Kentucky lake is situated on a private wooded 2 acre lot just 0.9 miles to the boat launch with screened back porch, outdoor fire pit, and boat parking area. We are in the Western Shores subdivision which is a 1,218 acre waterfront community located just outside of Murray, Kentucky on Kentucky Lake. It offers year round activities to include a community pool/hot tub, wooded nature trails, and private boat slips that are available on a first-come basis . Enjoy fishing and water sports in the Summer and hiking the nature trails in the Fall. If you are looking for a quiet escape you found it! Our home is located 2 hours from Nashville, one hour from Paducah and 15 minutes from the outdoor activities of Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.
There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the two guestrooms each have two full size beds. There are a total of five beds in the house. 
* This property may not be safe for unsupervised children due to the elevation of the front porch and exterior stairs.

Heron's Rest was the perfect spot for a lakeside getaway with friends. The house is beautiful with a large porch, and the fire pit was nice too. The pool is a short drive from the property, but was more than manageable. Highly recommend booking a stay here.

We 4 golden girls go on vacation every year. This house was very comfortable, clean, nicely laid out. It was a little far from town, and the pool, but that was okay. Maybe needs a few more cooking utensils. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. Overall great place.

This home was beautiful, clean and great for our family. We met our daughters, sons in law and our 11th old grandson for a short vacation. The property was so well maintained and clean, we had no worries regarding his health or safety. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep and clean up a breeze. The community pool was absolutely wonderful. All of the amenities both inside and outside made relaxing and family time absolutely special. Our hosts were informative, accessible and very friendly. We would highly recommend this property and we’re already planning our stay for Summer 2026!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, beautiful, and exactly as advertised. The area was quiet with lots of wildlife. We saw deer, and bison at the ranch next door. The community pool was perfect for the hot weather we had during our stay. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations.
