Mooi zwembad, prima locatie

De villa is op loopafstand van het centrum, ziet er van de buitenkant mooi uit en heeft een lekker groot en mooi zwembad. Mooie tafeltennistafel, tafelvoetbal, grote bbq en pizza-oven. Alles wat nodig is voor goed verblijf. Van de binnenkant is het ok, maar een aantal dingen begint wat gedateerd te worden (afzuigkap, afwasmachine, oven, gebroken glas van schuifdeur, kastjes vies, etc.). Wat echt minder voelde was de check-in en de check-out, hebben we echt even moeten slikken. We kwamen net uit een ander huis waar de eigenaren heel relaxed waren en waar het dus heel gastvrij voelde. Alles mocht, alles kon. Toen we bijvoorbeeld tegen hen zeiden dat we hun afdroogdoeken zo mooi vonden wilden ze ons de doeken cadeau geven :-). Gevolg van hun gastvrijheid was dat wij heel graag heel goed voor hun huisje wilde zorgen. In dit huis in Sarlat was de aankomst ervaring heel anders. Er was een enorm gedetailleerde lijst met inventaris die we moesten ondertekenen. Over hoeveel borden, messen en theelepeltjes er waren etc. En we moesten bij het verlaten van het huis echt alles op dezelfde plek terug zetten, er waren stickertjes, anders zou er geld van onze borg af gaan. Voelde nogal muggenzifterig en wat armoedig bij een huis met zo'n flinke huurprijs. De dame die ons incheckte was wat verbaasd dat we die lijst dan wel eerst met haar samen wilden controleren. De lijst bleek tijdens het checken ook niet helemaal te kloppen, blij dat we hem niet zomaar ondertekend hebben. Bij de check-out een zelfde ervaring. De dame die dit deed was opnieuw verbaasd dat we met haar wilden checken of alles ok was en dat we een handtekening wilden hebben dat wij alles ok hadden achtergelaten en dat we de borg terug zouden krijgen. Ze zei dat zij dat later wel zouden doen en dan zouden wij wel horen of er iets stuk was (bijvoorbeeld de afwasautomaat). Daar zijn we natuurlijk niet mee akkoord gegaan en hebben uiteindelijk de handtekening gekregen. We zouden er trouwens ook niet mee akkoord zijn gegaan als de afwasautomaat stuk zou zijn gegaan en we de kosten daarvan voor ons zouden zijn. De apparaten zijn gedateerd en vervanging hiervan is natuurlijk niet voor rekening van de huurder. Overigens was de dame die dit voor ons regelde heel vriendelijk, zij voerde ook slechts de regels uit. Kortom: prima huis, mooi zwembad, perfecte locatie tussen Sarlat en de natuur. Van binnen beetje gedateerd en bij aankomst en vertrek een wat minder gastvrije ervaring dan op andere plekken.

Excellent séjour en famille !

La maison est en tous points conforme à l annonce. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de la maison, son beau jardin et sa grande piscine, tout en étant à deux pas du centre historique de SARLAT. Seuls bémols : il faudrait le wifi et la piscine chauffée (surtout quand le soleil est affreusement absent). La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle. Parfaite pour un agréable séjour en famille ou entre amis!
