Location was pitch perfect, BUT there were several things that could be improved: thermo regulation was locked, there were no toiletries, dishwasher tabs etc. available, insufficient amout of toilet paiper, garbage bags, wood for fireplace. Also beware of the fact that there is additional cleaning fee (180 eur) irequired otherwise you have to completely clean the villa.

Bonjour Madame En reponse a votre message, le chauffage est réglé sur 20 degrés et vous aviez une cheminée à votre disposition. De plus vous avez eu tres beau temps la deuxième semaine. Sous l'evier de cuisine il y a des produits pour laver la vaisselle, le carrelage différents détergents et iui en effet il y a un surplus pour le menage commpe partout surtout pour les grandes villas car sinon on nous rends la villa dans un etat pitoyable. Et il y a un rouleau de papier toilette dans chaque toilette pour le démarrage Apres nous pouvons pas faire les courses pour les clients.

First the good stuff, the villa is lovely and well equipped. The swimming pool is fantastic. The villa is a good walk into town and back - no taxis if you want to drink you have to walk back which is fine if you are fit some older ones may find the walk back a bit much as it is uphill but still a good walk. The villa is well placed for exploring the area.Not so good; don;t opt to do the cleaning yourself as they will find lots of reasons to charge you out of your deposit the whole amount 180 Euros to clean themselves.We left food in the fridge for the cleaner and her girls; chocolate mousse, yoghurts, orangina, beer etc. after cleaning the fridge and this was photographed and sent to us as rubbish that we didn't dispose of! Food out of the fridge that we left tea, coffee, was also sent as evidence that we didn't dispose of rubbish, I wish now we'd taken it and given it to the neighbours, leaving water in the kettle! Got sent lots of pictures of the showers and bathroom that we did clean and couldn't tell what they were pictures of as it was as clean as when we arrived we did leave 2 toilet roll tubes in 1 bin. Some of the sinks have water marks that can't be removed but this was photographed and sent as evidence of not cleaning. The BBQ is great but it was filthy and we had to use charcoal to burn the mould and grime of the grill before we could use it. So a lovely villa in all but feel they are going to charge for the cleaning whatever you do, so just pay for the cleaning

Bonjour Madame Suite a votre petit commentaire merci pour la note pour notre villa par ailleurs désolé pour le ménage mais les locataires suivant non pas eu de retenu car ils ont respectés les régles sur le ménage Apres je peux déposer les photos pour que chacun puis je juger.....sur le site si vous le souhaitez mais la nourriture entamé nous ne laissons pas pour les locataires ni la dame qui vous accueuille, de ce fait frigo non nettoyés Seuls les choses non entamées peuvent être donner. Apres je vais pas étaler tout je suis contente que vous avez passés de bonnes vacances.

Mooi zwembad, prima locatie

De villa is op loopafstand van het centrum, ziet er van de buitenkant mooi uit en heeft een lekker groot en mooi zwembad. Mooie tafeltennistafel, tafelvoetbal, grote bbq en pizza-oven. Alles wat nodig is voor goed verblijf. Van de binnenkant is het ok, maar een aantal dingen begint wat gedateerd te worden (afzuigkap, afwasmachine, oven, gebroken glas van schuifdeur, kastjes vies, etc.). Wat echt minder voelde was de check-in en de check-out, hebben we echt even moeten slikken. We kwamen net uit een ander huis waar de eigenaren heel relaxed waren en waar het dus heel gastvrij voelde. Alles mocht, alles kon. Toen we bijvoorbeeld tegen hen zeiden dat we hun afdroogdoeken zo mooi vonden wilden ze ons de doeken cadeau geven :-). Gevolg van hun gastvrijheid was dat wij heel graag heel goed voor hun huisje wilde zorgen. In dit huis in Sarlat was de aankomst ervaring heel anders. Er was een enorm gedetailleerde lijst met inventaris die we moesten ondertekenen. Over hoeveel borden, messen en theelepeltjes er waren etc. En we moesten bij het verlaten van het huis echt alles op dezelfde plek terug zetten, er waren stickertjes, anders zou er geld van onze borg af gaan. Voelde nogal muggenzifterig en wat armoedig bij een huis met zo'n flinke huurprijs. De dame die ons incheckte was wat verbaasd dat we die lijst dan wel eerst met haar samen wilden controleren. De lijst bleek tijdens het checken ook niet helemaal te kloppen, blij dat we hem niet zomaar ondertekend hebben. Bij de check-out een zelfde ervaring. De dame die dit deed was opnieuw verbaasd dat we met haar wilden checken of alles ok was en dat we een handtekening wilden hebben dat wij alles ok hadden achtergelaten en dat we de borg terug zouden krijgen. Ze zei dat zij dat later wel zouden doen en dan zouden wij wel horen of er iets stuk was (bijvoorbeeld de afwasautomaat). Daar zijn we natuurlijk niet mee akkoord gegaan en hebben uiteindelijk de handtekening gekregen. We zouden er trouwens ook niet mee akkoord zijn gegaan als de afwasautomaat stuk zou zijn gegaan en we de kosten daarvan voor ons zouden zijn. De apparaten zijn gedateerd en vervanging hiervan is natuurlijk niet voor rekening van de huurder. Overigens was de dame die dit voor ons regelde heel vriendelijk, zij voerde ook slechts de regels uit. Kortom: prima huis, mooi zwembad, perfecte locatie tussen Sarlat en de natuur. Van binnen beetje gedateerd en bij aankomst en vertrek een wat minder gastvrije ervaring dan op andere plekken.

Excellent séjour en famille !

La maison est en tous points conforme à l annonce. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de la maison, son beau jardin et sa grande piscine, tout en étant à deux pas du centre historique de SARLAT. Seuls bémols : il faudrait le wifi et la piscine chauffée (surtout quand le soleil est affreusement absent). La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle. Parfaite pour un agréable séjour en famille ou entre amis!
