The Beach Plum House, built in 2003, is a large cape cod-style home on 1.5 acres with 6 bedrooms, 4 ½ baths, and a sunny south facing deck. The open plan first floor has a sizable living room, dining room, and fully applianced kitchen (and Butler's pantry) equipped with dishwasher and laundry (washer & dryer).

The front of the home greets you with an open sunny (south facing) porch, and a sizable deck, equipped with a grill, with access to the dining room and kitchen, perfect for outdoor eating and entertaining.

The first floor also has a master suite with a king bed and en-suite bath with whirlpool jacuzzi tub and walk-in tiled shower. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. One bedroom serves as the second master with a queen bed and an en-suite bath with tub/shower and walk-in closet. The second floor also has an open loft den area with a pullout couch. The other two bedrooms on this floor have one set of twins and one king bed and share a full bath with tub/shower and two sinks. The finished walk-out lower level has a second TV room/den, 2 large bedrooms, and a full bath with tub/shower. One bedroom has 2 twins, and the other larger bedroom has a king bed and 1 twin.

Beach Plum house is down the road (1.5 miles) from beautiful Coast Guard Beach. Truro's 5 other Atlantic Ocean beaches are a short bike ride or drive away. All of Truro's ocean beaches are contained within the beautiful Cape Cod National Seashore, known for its towering sand dunes, surfing, fishing, boogie boarding, swimming, and miles of unending sandy beach. You can also enjoy the beaches of Cape Cod Bay, with the closest, Great Hollow Beach, about one mile away. Truro has 9 additional town beaches/landings on Cape Cod Bay for all types of saltwater recreation.

Also close by are:
-Highland Golf Course (less than 1 mile away ) with the historic Highland Lighthouse.
-Castle Hill Center for the Arts and live summer theater at the Payomet Performing Arts Center (which often brings in large national recording artists).
-Sweet Escapes (.6 miles away), which makes great homemade ice cream!
-Provincetown (a 10 minute drive), with its unparalleled restaurants and nightlife.
-Wonderful trail systems for hiking in the beach forest as well as freshwater kettle ponds in Wellfleet, including Great Pond (about 5 miles away).

With so much to do and beautiful scenery, North Truro is a wonderful family vacation spot!

Perfect vacation stay

A perfect stay for a cape cod getaway. Spent a weekend with friends at Beach Plum House and it was the perfect place. The house is stocked with everything you need and is even better than the pictures. Short drive to everything (beach, Provincetown, cape cod lighthouse) and set in a serene beautiful location. Would highly recommend.

Memorial Day weekend getaway

The house is amazing! It comes with everything and plenty of rooms to sleep in for a big crowd. Provincetown is just 10 minutes away! The owner is very nice and if you have any questions, respond very quick. Definitely would stay here again!

Perfect House for a Larger Group

The house is perfect if traveling with several families. There were three families staying in the house, and we had plenty of space. Great location central to beaches, store, and close to P-town. The house was immaculate when we arrived, as well.

Perfect for our family vacation.

We enjoyed a multigenerational family vacation ranging in age from nine months to great grandparents. The house is spacious and well appointed. Hollis saw to it that all our living requirements were available. We had a great week.

Beach Plum House

The house was great for our large group of siblings and cousins. Having bedrooms on multiple floors made it possible for everyone to have their own space, and gather together on the first floor. The kitchen was very well-equipped and having the A/C was a nice bonus. Great location near Coast Guard Beach!

Family Fun

This house was great for our extended family vacation. Each year we search for the golden nugget of a rental to accommodate our family and often come up short. This house was a perfect fit. Plenty of space to spread out and do different activities. Each room was beautifully decorated and set up. And it is the absolute best for games of hide and seek. You also can't beat the location - so close to our favorite beach, Head of the Meadow, and P-Town. We hope to return next year!

This house was perfect for our annual Cape trip! We are two families, with 5 kids between us ranging from toddlers to school-aged, and a pup. We’ve stayed in several houses in the area before but have finally found “the one” - and have already booked again for next year! Comfortable, spacious, and well appointed - this house had more than enough space for all of us, and we particularly loved the family friendly touches (games and activities for all ages, including a little playhouse outside and child-friendly amenities throughout). The location also can’t be beat - walking distance to Highland Light, close to all the beaches and Truro vineyard, and minutes to PTown. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful home to enjoy our vacation in

We were a big group of 12, with family from both coasts. This house was beyond comfortable for all of us, the space was perfect for our group and since we were so many, we cooked at the house most nights. The kitchen will provide all your needs. We felt welcomed, and Hollis was excellent at communicating and being available should any questions arise. We had no questions because of the ease of directions and information, all was provided! The house is a beautiful home with meaningful art and decor and everything you could need to enjoy Cape Cod to it's fullest. Our teens rented bikes (although, there are bikes at the house, which the adults used!) and were able to bike to the beach down the road everyday, and being in Truro, you really are close to the core of what Cape Cod offers. We considered ourselves very lucky to have found this home, after VRBO made a mistake and almost derailed our vacation, Hollis and this vacation rental really made everything right, and I can say with confidence that it was a better experience than what we would have had. I have no hesitation in saying this house and the owners will exceed any expectations one can have with a vacation rental.

Plum House was very comfortable with a nice kitchen, crisp AC, outdoor shower, lots of hot water for 12, washer and dryer at kitchen back door, and porch for morning coffee. Hollis answered our questions along the way about bedrooms etc and kept in touch to make sure we were doing ok

Our Happy Place

This is a perfect house for our family vacations. There's lots of room to spread out; a good -sized kitchen, well stocked with equipment to cook family-size meals; accessibility to beautiful beaches on bay and ocean. There's a nice deck with a grill for enjoying the outdoors. Furniture and beds are comfortable, the house is sunny and bright. Hollis is a great host, helpful and responsive.

The house is in great shape and comfortable for 12 people.

We had 12 people and felt extremely comfortable in side the house. Everything needed to cook and lounge with the family. A few minor items. The AC did not maintain temperature below 72 degrees on the main floor. There is also no out side space other than a deck. The front yard is over grown natural and the back is a stone driveway. These where not major items but would make this a 5 star stay.

Excellent break from normal

We all were looking for a change from the new normal of working from home. The property provided a great place for friends to get together and catch up. The place is very choice fully decorated, was spotlessly clean and provided for ample space for all to just disconnect from electronics and connect with friends. The location of this place is absolutely wonderful too with close access to multiple beaches. The weather was too cold for us to truly enjoy the outdoors, so would like to visit again and enjoy the full potential.

Great stay!!!

The property was beautiful and honestly the pictures did not do justice since there is renovations inside the house. Everything was cleaned and it offered housing supplies for all types of needs. It was well supplied for more than 14 people. Thank you, and we will sure repeat our stay again in the future.
