Cottage By The Shore

Beautiful 3-bedroom cottage on a quiet lane in Stanhope, Prince Edward Island with a beautiful view of Covehead Bay. A one minute walk to the Stanhope Golf Course. A 15 minute walk to Ross Lane beach and a short drive to Stanhope Beach, Brackley Beach, Covehead and Dalvay Beach.

Walk into an open concept living space with a fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave), complete with a large island and dining room table. The kitchen opens into the living room, which is filled with light from the large windows looking out onto the Bay. Down the hall there are three bedrooms - master bedroom with an ensuite, second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with two twin beds, each with their own closets - and a shared bathroom at the end of the hallway. There are two patios that can be enjoyed complete with barbecue outdoor dining furniture and outdoor lounge furniture. The property is large with lots of green space.

We had a wonderful stay in Stanhope. The property was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything we needed. Its location is ideal — just minutes from the golf course, great local restaurants, and other nearby attractions. The area is peaceful. The hosts were helpful, attentive, and made our stay seamless. Melanie, our host, was fantastic and the service was excellent! It was spacious, cozy and very clean. Beautiful property both inside and out, We took advantage of the beautiful beaches which were only a 10 minute drive and appreciated all the amenities that were available, including the white linen. Everything was exactly as advertised. However the cottage was very clean and comfortable. Would stay there again and our host Melanie was very quick to respond to emails. Don't hesitate, book this cottage.. you cannot go wrong. The area is central to a lot of PEI attractions.

This house was the perfect rental for my mother and I (although would easily fit the entire family). It was fully stocked with whatever we needed, clean, and comfortable. Location was great: easy walk along the bay and short drive to the national park. We had a lovely relaxing time on PEI. Highly recommend Cottage by the Shore.

This comfortable space was impeccably clean. I have never stayed in a place where there wasn't one crumb in a drawer or cupboard. The location is perfect for easy travel to every place on the island. Thank you to our hosts for sharing their lovely home.

The Cottage by the Shore is a wonderful base from which to explore PEI - it is spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the hosts are very responsive. Its central location offers easy access to Charlottetown, the National Park, and many day trip desinations, and the setting is beautiful and tranquil, with a biking/walking path along the shore. Highly recommended.

Wonderful property with a great view of the bay. Clean and had pretty much anything we needed. The crib and high hair were great so we didn’t have to bring them. Very close to the national park and the beach. We loved that the door to the basement locked so the toddler could not open it. Very easy check in. The hosts were very great to communicate with and got back to us basically immediately.
