Lake getaway

The bungalow was quaint and cozy! We loved sitting outside in the evening & relaxing! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

This place is a great place to stay. My kids thoroughly enjoyed having the water park right across the street and that we got to go every day of our stay! It was great room and I loved that I was able to cook breakfast for my family in the morning. Great and very cute little bungalow! Just a PSA though, is bring everything you could think you may need since the drive back to town is a bit of a drive

Nice little bungalow

Nice and clean! However the kitchen isn’t fully stocked with cooking pans or even silverware, dish towels to anything to wash dishes with. The photos of the front of the bungalows do not show that your view is actually a very busy street looking at the front of the Beach side Billy’s water park and restaurant. We booked on a weekend that there were several different events taking place that weekend. A lot of people moving about all hours and the water park was very dirty with tons of trash on the grounds and in water area/pools. Photos also show access to Lake Travis but it’s actually very dirty on the “beach” and the small inclosed area of lake Travis wasn’t safe at all to be in the water. Over all our stay was nice but the waterpark was a huge let down for our family.

Hi Desiree, We appreciate feedback from our guests as it helps us to continually improve on future guest experiences. Each of our bungalows are equipped with utensils dishes, a coffee pot, a blender, as well as basic cookware. We'll be sure to have our staff ensure the inventory is checked for this bungalow. We would have gladly brought you anything you needed during your stay had you notified us while visiting. I will also share your positive feedback with my cleaning team. This weekend in particular was one of the busier weekends at the waterpark this summer with 2 large events, one being JAWS on the Water, which has been held almost every Friday and Saturday night this summer. Our crews are constantly working to keep the trash picked up and the beach and pool areas clean. The many positive reviews of the waterpark will attest to our staff's dedication to this. Central Texas is in a drought and the lake levels have slowly been lowering throughout the summer. Lake Travis is a man made lake and its levels are all dependent on rain. Thank you for visiting us and enjoy the rest of your summer.
