The gas fireplace didn't work. The fireplace was something we really wanted since we don't have one at home. There was no heat in the bathroom with the shower only. The description of this property says that there is a mountain view but there isn't unless you stand in the right place and manage to peak through the branches of all the trees the block the view. There were three mini splits in the house, but they didn't work. The gas grill was nasty. It took me 20 minutes to clean it to make it usable. The fire pit hadn't been dumped in a while and, because of the rain, the left-over ashes were a nasty gray slurry that we had to clean before we could use it. These folks really need to pay more attention to their property.
This cottage was clean and ready with k cups and comfortable beds. The living room window is large with a beautiful view.. perfect little reading nook communication with the property manager was top notch- very friendly and helpful. We loved staying here!

Great Home
We really enjoyed this home! Everything was super clean! The back patio area and hot tub were great! Easy check in and check out! Wi-Fi worked perfectly! …the only thing we didn’t love was the really skinny road up to the rental… totally out of your control! Thank you!

Hot Tub Mtn.
View was great! More grown-up than the picture shows. Could use some updates from owners, though. Seth was a wonderful help anytime we called him! Large inside, lots of space. A great place for a couple or a foursome!
The house was in a quiet location, which we wanted. To get to the location we did have to drive up a narrow, sometimes winding road (it would be difficult in the winter if there is snow). Other times of the year, it’s a great location. The hot tub was not working (we were told this when booking). The furniture pieces outdoors needed to be cleaned due to cobwebs, leaves, and debris. We didn’t put the cushions on them (even though these were stored indoors). It just didn’t seem like the actual dirty outdoor furniture was something we wanted to put the clean cushions on.The inside was fairly clean and comfortable. The carpets in the bedrooms could use some shampooing as there are some spots in various places. The ice maker in the fridge wasn’t working, There are some trays that can be filled with water. I did ask about this before arrival so that we could plan to stop and buy ice and filtered water.Suggestions: provide a mop for the kitchen, serving spoons, longer shower curtain in the walk-in shower, larger, more-plush bath towels, instructions for air/heat and maybe the t.v.’s.Overall, the location was very good. We enjoyed our stay. I wasn’t sure how to communicate with the host. I texted once, but never heard back, so I assume sending messages through VRBO is the best option.

Waynesville Cabin with hot tub
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. We usually end up getting something way too big, but this was the perfect size for us. It was great having smart tv's in both bedrooms and the living area. The beds were comfortable, which is extremely important to me. It was stocked with plenty of coffee and water. The only thing that would have made it any better is if there had been a recliner there, as my husband has back problems. However, our very kind host, Seth actually brought us his personal camping recliner to use. It was a great help. I really can't say enough about our host. He made the trip a better experience.
