Very well stocked house. We really appreciated all the extra towels that were available for our extended family that was there for a wedding nearby. Great communication and easy check in. Would definitely recommend.
This was a wonderful house in the heart of Gresham close to restaurants and easy access everywhere. Lots of space and bedrooms, comfortable furniture, updated bathrooms and fun game room. We had a good experience in this home.
The house was very spacious with lots of bedrooms and had a lot of wonderful features. We especially enjoyed playing pool and watching movies as a family downstairs. The weather was wonderful and I wish the outside had been more taken care of and prepared for us to use it. Lots of weeds and disorganization outside made it less usale for our group. But otherwise the house is charming. The owners have started to make some great upgrades to the house.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed the home, especially the space, pool table, and time with your family.
We appreciate you letting us know about the outdoor areas. We'll share your comments with our team as we continue making improvements to the property. We hope to welcome you back again!
Family all wanted to stay under one roof and were coming in for Mothers funeral. We each had quiet Privacy and plenty of space to hang out. We enjoyed the Fire Pit and access to the park, through the gate. Generous kitchen space and plenty of dishes. Also appreciated the potted plants, trees and other plants on the property. We met the owners who were friendly and accommodating.
My immediate and extended family had a great time gathering at this house for a summer family reunion. It's a good fit for families with kids 0-5 (fun bunk room, park nearby, game room fun, feels like being in the woods even though it's a suburban neighborhood). It was a very peaceful, spacious setting that felt like our own private retreat. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, and we enjoyed cooking most of our meals at the homeThe host was easy to communicate with (also quick to respond) and gracious to allow us a slightly later checkout. When someone in my family realized after checkout that we had left something behind, she was very understanding and allowed us options for retrieving our belonging. We would definitely stay here again! However, we do have some constructive feedback:-The uppermost bedroom shower was clogged.-The hot tub was dirty and did not seem to be working. Not a big deal to us, but could be important for other guests.-The exterior of the house had quite a bit of weeds. A little weed wacking could do wonders for the property's appearance. -More or larger garbage cans would be helpful for a large group such as ours, especially given our weeklong stay.

Unfortunately there were ants throughout the kitchen and black mold in the refrigerator. There was urine on the rim of the toilet bowl and clogged upstairs shower. A tree branch fell on our car while parked in the designated parking area on the owners property.Owner refused to allow us to file a claim with his homeowners insurance, did not offer any help or reimbursement of deductible.Blocked my calls and stopped returning my emails.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We’d like to clarify that during your stay, the only issue reported to our team was the fallen tree branch. One of our managers coordinated with you directly and communicated with you regarding the claim related to that incident.
We did not receive any reports during the stay regarding ants, mold in the refrigerator, restroom cleanliness, or the clogged upstairs shower. Had these been brought to our attention at the time, we would have taken immediate steps to address them.
We regret your frustration and appreciate you sharing this feedback. It helps us review our processes and improve communication moving forward.
Overall, this was a solid place for what we needed. The location worked really well as a home base in Gresham, especially since we spent most of our time out exploring and just needed a place to come back to, relax, use the hot tub, sleep, and head back out the next day.A few things are worth noting. The kitchen felt a little unfinished in places, with some cabinet doors not closing properly, though that was mostly aesthetic. The bigger kitchen issue was the range. We did not plan on cooking much, so it was not a major problem for us, but when one of us went to make tea, we noticed most of the metal stovetop pieces were broken, with only one that seemed fully usable. If someone planned to cook meals, that could be frustrating. There were also ants in the house. That said, I understand ants are probably hard to manage during the rainy season with the gardens and trees around the property. The management team was very responsive when we mentioned it. They came out quickly, brought traps, and made an effort to fix the issue, which we appreciated.A couple of the beds or mattresses also seemed like they may need attention, either due to the mattresses themselves or the bed bracing.Overall, the house worked well for our trip. The hot tub was a nice bonus, the location was convenient, and it gave us a good landing spot after long days outside. With some maintenance on the stove, beds, and ant control, it could be an even better stay.

Nice Property
Overall stay was ok but the check in process was a mess. I paid for an extra day because I was coming in the middle of the morning with several little kids and the gate had a padlock on it. I was stuck outside for 1 hour waiting for the code at 1am with extremely tired kids. The answering company was pretty rude and told me not to call back again about the same problem. I thought I was scammed at first. I eventually got it the house was big cozy and had enough fun things to do while we were there. I also asked for a small refund on the stay due to the terrible check in process and was told no but I never stayed in the property the whole night before and I left early of the morning of check out day at 4am.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're truly sorry for the stressful and frustrating check-in process you encountered—especially arriving late at night with young children. That’s absolutely not the experience we want for any of our guests.
To clarify, the gate code was provided five days prior to your stay and was also readily available in the digital guide sent to you. That said, we understand that in moments like this, things can get overlooked or missed—and regardless, you should have received immediate and respectful support when you reached out. We sincerely apologize for the behavior of the person who answered your call. That kind of response is unacceptable and does not reflect the standard of service we expect from anyone representing our team.
We’re glad to hear that, once inside, the home itself was cozy, spacious, and enjoyable for your group. However, we understand that the check-in difficulties had a lasting impact on your overall experience. While our policy does not typically allow refunds after check-in, we do take your concerns seriously and are reviewing this internally to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
We truly appreciate your feedback—it helps us improve—and we hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future for a much smoother experience.
A few things were not what we expected. We travel to the Portland area twice per year and use VRBO or the others. We have always left great reviews and always felt comfortable. This house appears as though as it was a remodel of an aging property and was not done well. Bathroom windows have no frosted glass or blinds. One window is actually in the shower facing a child’s park. The stove top grates are all broken. We almost had boiling water in a pot fall off the stove. Cabinets are all coming off the hinges. The refrigerator doesn’t always close. The beds are terrible. It advertises a hot tub but after arriving they told us not to use it. Paid for amenities and a pristine house and got none of what we expected. I contacted the rental company as well as VRBO and both have been unresponsive.
This house has a ton of space and a ton of character. It is situated on a huge lot with lots of beautiful greenery surrounding it. Cool 70’s vibes inside and it really fits the flavor of Portland. We had more than enough space/beds/baths to accommodate our family comfortably. The house is situated next to a park, and it looks at the backyards of the houses adjacent to it. The other side of the house is private and has a beautiful fire pit area.It is a difficult property to find because it has a chain link fence around it with a padlock to get inside. As they book more stays, they may want to consider a stronger identifier on the fence so that people not familiar with the property can find it easier. Having to get out of your car to padlock the fence to get in and out of the property is a bit of a pain point. It would be nice to eventually get an automated/electric alternative for that. The main entrance door with the key code is the only way to get in/out of the house (besides the sliding door) and the rest of the doors are dead bolted. This is confusing on arrival, so better directional signage and/or instructions could help.Overall, this property has a ton of potential. Thank you for letting us stay!
We’re sorry to see that your experience did not meet expectations. Guest satisfaction is very important to us, and we would have appreciated the opportunity to address any concerns during your stay. Should you be open to sharing more details, we’d be glad to learn from your experience and continue improving for future guests.
