The spacious layout makes it easy for everyone to spread out and unwind, while cozy touches throughout create a space that feels more like a home than a rental. Mornings start slow here — coffee in the garden, kids playing outside, pups exploring the fully fenced yard — and evenings end with laughter in the game room or a movie night together.

Inside, the remodeled kitchen is ready for everything from quick breakfasts before heading out to hike, to shared dinners after a day exploring the Gorge. Bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind, featuring memory foam mattresses so you can recharge after full days of adventure. What truly makes this home special is the location. You’re just minutes from **McMenamins Edgefield**, making it an ideal stay for concerts, events, dining, and evenings under the string lights. Outdoor lovers will appreciate easy access to **hiking trails**, local **frisbee (disc) golf**, and some of Oregon’s most iconic scenery. Spend the day chasing waterfalls at **Multnomah Falls**, take in sweeping Gorge views at **Crown Point and Vista House**, or hop on the seasonal **Waterfall Trolley** to explore multiple trailheads and viewpoints without worrying about parking.

Traveling by air? **Troutdale Airport** is nearby, making arrivals and departures easy for private pilots or guests visiting the area by small aircraft. And when you’re ready for a slower pace, historic downtown Troutdale offers charming shops, restaurants, and community events like the First Friday Art Walk with local artists, food, and live music.

This home is all about balance — adventure during the day, relaxation at night. It’s a place to reconnect, explore, and make memories together while enjoying one of the most beautiful regions in the Pacific Northwest.

Whether you’re here for Edgefield concerts, Gorge hikes, waterfall adventures, or simply a cozy family escape, this Troutdale retreat makes the perfect base for it all.

A home was a perfect place for ten friends who were flying and driving from all over the country to meet up and get ready to do some hiking in the Columbia Gorge. The home was clean, the beds were comfy and communication was easy with Shelby. Thanks for the great place to stay!

To start, in fairness the property management AI rep they did offer a refund of one night which I appreciated but not enough for this unfortunate experience. The first night I arrived at about 7:30pm to find the thermostat set to off. It was 41 degrees outside and 49 degrees inside. It took all night to get comfortable. I went to bed with all my clothes on including my parka. I woke up at midnight and hook my parks off. At 2am I took my pants off and at 3 am I took my socks off. The next morning the coffee pot was a mess. Someone put grounds in the water well and even after spending an hour to clean it, the basket would overflow. It never functioned well. When I took a shower that morning there were blobs of black stuff (I have photos) coming up from the drain that I was standing in while showering. They did send someone that day to fix it. Wednesday I get an AI email asking me to put the garbage cans out so we are fumbling around at 8pm in the dark, cold rain to find them because there was no information, no binder in the house with any info, to only discover they were empty. My overall impression is the place is not managed well because they were reactive and not proactive to do something as simple as turn the thermostat on a few hours before people arrive.
