Wonderful place for a relaxing family getaway. We had a fire outside in the evenings and relaxed on the deck enjoying the view of the river during the day.
A gorgeous retreat! Great views, near everything. A perfect jumping off point for your Oregon adventure.

This was a work trip for us. We decided to add a little relaxation to the trip and what a beautiful location to do it in. The property was very well maintained, and the scenery was outstanding. The host was an absolute delight!
Lovely home with beautiful views of the Sandy river. Molly made sure we were well taken care of. Conveniently close to airport, markets, restaurants, state parks while nestled far enough away to be a peaceful getaway.
This property is beautiful, a wonderful location, and great for hiking and fishing. We had a wonderful stay. The owner was lovely and her communications perfect. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We hope to visit again soon as my daughter lives in Oregon.
Simply loved this property. Communication with owner was very clear, even was able to check in early! Incredibly welcoming, well stocked essentials. We will be back.

Beautiful relaxing home
This home is so beautiful. The views are absolutely stunning. The home is meticulously clean and well-appointed. It had everything we needed. The home is only 30 minutes from downtown Portland and was very convenient to accommodate planned day trips.Molly was so nice and made contact several times to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
The property was just as advertised, very clean and beautiful. The view cannot be beat. It was so relaxing. The owner allowed us to have some family over for a dinner since we were there for our son's wedding. The sheets are the softest I have ever used. Loved every minute there!
Very clean with everything you could ever need. Beautiful property and breathtaking views. Great beds. Great location to Troutdale, Gresham and Portland. The owner is very concerned about your experience and very informative. This is your place!
We stayed at the Sandy River House while helping our son move into his new home in the area. The view of the river was absolutely beautiful and the sound of the water was so relaxing! The house and amenities were very inviting and met our needs. It was a very welcome reprieve at the end of each day. We will definitely stay again when we go back to visit our son and can enjoy it to its fullest!
Enjoyed some details owner Molly placed in the house. Welcome roses, first aid box (I happened to burn my hand and it came really handy), instant noodles etc. only one thing, I thought the River is accessible from the backyard, turned out it’s a misunderstanding.

Outstanding.
This house was perfect. Beautiful, cheerful, peaceful and comfortable inside and outside. Breathtaking views of the river from inside and the beautifully landscaped yard. Amenities, supplies were abundant so it really felt like home. This is the only house we've rented that had a full supply of kitchen wraps and bags, decaf coffee, towels, for examples. We arrived to fresh flowers on the table and a welcoming note from the host, and we received a welcome call and an end of stay call from Molly to be sure everything was good. We have never before experienced such a thoughtful host. The house is also near lots of good restaurants, parks/ sights, a small railroad museum. Should we ever return to the area, we would absolutely want to stay at this house again.
Aside from the spectacular view of a visually arresting bend of a flowing river, accommodations were exceptionally comfortable. There were many loving touches you typically only see when the owner is actively involved ~ welcoming wine (red and white), a full morning beverage service and a well appointed kitchen with snacks available in the freezer. There was a minor miscommunication early on that was resolved with impressive alacrity and, after a casual inquiry regarding a small kitchen appliance (coffee grinder), it appeared within 24 hours. Altogether, the experience was exceptional and we felt quite lucky to have found such a delightful accommodation within 20 minutes of the Portland international airport.

A Slice of Heaven!
This house, this view, this location, this river... all adds up to perfection. The home is lovely, with a picturesque view the photos can't even capture. Everything was perfectly stocked, with a well equipped kitchen, throw blankets, warming fireplaces, patio furniture that's like new, a picnic table for summer evening dinner outside by the river, and a view from every window. The house was spotless clean, with nice linens and super comfy beds. All of the bedrooms have sliding glass doors with screens, so We were able to sleep with the sound of the river... There is a nice yard, with a lovely little garden, and adorable picket fence. The owner was lovely and easy to work with. She helped with any needs but did not intrude in any way. I honestly didn't want to leave, it felt like the home I didn't know I wanted, and we are already planning a return trip!
We couldn't have been more fortunate than to have booked the Troutdale River House for our Thanksgiving holiday. The property is beautifully kept, stocked with anything and everything you could need on a getaway and so, so comfortable and inviting. Molly, the host, goes to exceptional lengths to make sure her guests are well taken care of. The property is a little slice of heaven with a stunning river view no matter what the time of day. Every pillow, blanket, towel, dish, appliance,
and decoration has been carefully selected and is of premium quality. Our host even had a decorated Christmas tree, flowers, wine and candy waiting to welcome us when we arrived. It's a gorgeous spot to make lasting memories. Would love to stay here again!
This property was a fabulous find for my family. The house was beautifully kept with one bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Although the bathrooms were not directly attached to the bedrooms, it was very helpful to have one bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen was well-appointed, but narrow in size. Only one person can be the chef at a time! We would definitely like to return in the future.
Overall - this is a great house. The road is very close to the house, so the main floor bedroom (with a window to the road) could get rather loud at night. I was on vacation, so it really didn't bother me. The views of the river were wonderful and I spent several hours reading a book and enjoying the views. Everything was clean and a very comfortable house. Outstanding kitchen/living area. Very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool table was also fun to play. We stayed over the Labor Day weekend and there were many people who camped (illegally) along the river/highway. My brother's car actually got keyed one night. I would love to stay at this house again, but I will have to evaluate the Portland area concerning the numerous homeless camps that have popped up over the past 2-3 years. Other than the car being keyed, no one bothered us.
We absolutely loved Molly's river front home in Troutdale. When we arrived there were a bunch of people floating in rafts, tubes, paddle boards down the river so we decided to go for a swim ourselves. There is an access point just down the road from the home. It was such a blast.
Molly was quick to respond to any questions we had. The home was immaculate and had everything you could ask for. Beds were very comfortable. Great location! Wifi worked great. The river view was my favorite part. We will definitely stay here again and again.
