Plush sofas surround a fireplace and a large wall-mounted TV, a formal dining room adjoins the sleek, fully equipped galley kitchen, and two new decks let you relax outdoors with views of beach grass and shore pines. The newly installed saltwater hot tub provides improved wellness, fewer chemicals, less skin and hair irritation, and increased relaxation under the shorepine trees. Step into the garage and enjoy the kayaks, SUP board, bikes, and beach amenities galore!

It’s a beautiful walk on private trails over a dune to the magnificent sight of Haystack Rock and the Pacific Ocean stretching to the horizon. Walk south to Bob Straub State Park on level sand to the mouth of the Nestucca River, or walk north to a surfing beach, tide pools, and the beachside Pelican Pub for award-winning brews and casual dining. Borrow bikes from the garage to tool further into town, launch the home’s kayaks in the river, or take the beach chairs and wagon and lounge all day on the sand. Head further afield with a trip to Tillamook to the north or head south to Lincoln City, both about a half hour away. Booked a 3 day stay for a short family trip. The house was a great location to the beach and market. The outdoor walkway to the beach was a plus as well. One thing we noticed was that upon following the rules for check-out, we saw that there was a pile of dirty laundry on the laundry machine, from what might have been from the guests prior? Also, If you are traveling with littles, like we did, you would need to bring all things they may need ie feeding supplies, crib/bed & high chair. Otherwise, our stay was nice it was a great location.

Its too bad the owners of this home contract with Meredith Lodging as the management company. Meredith Lodging is a horrible company. I was lied to, gaslighted and manipulated by them.The hot-tub controls didn't work, cold hot-tub. Meredith Lodging did NOTHING!The house itself was cozy but dated. The couch is raised on plastic footings that do not stay put. So don't get too comfortable! The mattresses need to be replaced with something that are higher quality.It's located in a cute neighborhood with a fairly easy walk to the beach. I would categorize as medium length, not short and not doable for anyone with mobility issues.The homeowners should change management companies, update sofa and mattresses and this would be a wonderful destination.
