This petite condo is a sweet landing spot for a couple or small family right on Diamond Beach at Rockaway. Walk out the door to miles of level sand and open sky—Diamond Beach is uncrowded and spectacularly beautiful. The town, with its shops, dining, and a boarding station of the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, is a half-mile walk south. Your condo includes a queen bedroom with a Smart TV, an alcove with games and toys, and twin bunks for the kids. The living room has a sofa and TV/DVD; the fully equipped kitchen adjoins an area for dining in, or you can eat outdoors using the complex’s picnic tables and barbecue. You can also enjoy sitting outdoors in Adirondack chairs under a covered porch.

Rockaway is a great launchpad to the North Oregon Coast, where you can hike dramatic headlands, discover hidden ocean coves, browse galleries and shops, and enjoy spectacular scenery along the way. At the end of each day, you’ll return for a sunset walk on the epic beach at Hydrangea Hideaway, ready to relax and refuel for another day of exploring the coast.

Pet friendly and filled with everything u might need. Only issue was the tv had a bad connection and would buff for a long time. The location was awesome and the beach was beautiful. Thank you

The property was not ready at check in time. The cleaners were there till 20 minutes past check in which was 4pm. One room was not swept with beach sand on the floor. There were lids from drink containers on both night stands by the bed and an empty can of Mikes hard cider on a shelf. What really got us was we saw mice twice and when we called Meredith Lodging they asked for pictures in order to prove we saw them. It was handled very unprofessionally and we left two days early due to the mice.Meredith Lodging was terrible to deal with and very unpleasant and condescending toward us.

Love this place, have been here several times before. It's cute and comfortable and SUCH a good location! Comfy bed and a lot of beach supplies -- chairs, blankets, toys, etc. Not quite as clean this time as I've seen it before, mainly "deep clean" type things (burner pans, dusty corners, fingerprints on cabinet fronts). Still plan to come again, though.

great location on the beach. older unit with some repair needs. back door is access to the beach, and the key barely fits and works after much struggle. Main concern is that two days after we checked out, fraudsters called with all of our information from Meredith Corp. (the landlord) and almost got us to hand over control of our laptop to correct a "billing error'. Not sure we can trust Meredith, or VRBO with our data again.
