Close to the Beach! Ocean View from every room! Pet Friendly 3- bedroom house

Relax and enjoy the ocean from this 1200 sq. ft., 3-bedroom cottage one block from the ocean. This is the beach the way it used to be just the sound of the ocean; there is no noise from any highway or traffic. One minute walk to the beach.
House has an Ocean view master bedroom with a half bath upstairs, and an ocean view main floor bedroom and full bath. Quiet back room with futon and fold out sofa in ocean view living room.
Wi-fi, antenna TV, Netflix, Hulu.
Barbecue, dishwasher, wood stove and wall heaters. Crabbing and clamming equipment for bay. The beach house is a 1/2 block to the beach. Off street parking for two cars. Many of the views are ocean front.

Great Beach Location

The house was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and a very short walk to the beach. The ocean views from the house were spectacular!

Close to the beach

What an amazing stay. Listening to the waves and the peaceful location was what I wanted. The upstairs bedroom and living room has a full ocean view. It was so relaxing, I didn’t want to leave.

Relaxing Getaway

Wonderful, quiet location to getaway for a couple of days. We enjoyed walks on the beach in between comfortable times reading and playing games at the beach house. We would happily come back.

Our family of three & two dogs enjoyed this wonderful, cozy Cape Meares home. It has great ocean views and is a 1 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook each night and morning, and the wood stove kept us toasty warm. We’d gladly stay here again!

Couples Retreat

Surf Cottage is a great place to stay. The house and the proximity to the beach is why we keep coming back. This is our third stay at Cape Meares and it did not disappoint. We had sunny warm weather one day and cold rainy weather the rest of our time…and the wood stove was perfect to warm up and dry out. The home is clean and cozy and we hope to return again!

Great base for beach fun

Our family with older kids stayed here. The surf cabin has everything you need for the beach-no need to bring stuff. There are so many beaches, hikes, tide pools, little restaurants and shops to explore around this area BUT not close enough to be busy. You drive to people which is part of the reason we love it here. We cooked/ grilled every day.

Another great mini vacay

We have been renting this beach house for a while now. The view is just unbeatable. Who doesn’t like to spot an eagle in the neighbors tree or a whale spout out in the ocean when prepping your families meals. Highly recommended property!

Unbeatable location

We aren’t first timers to Lucy’s place nor will this be our last. As always we had a blast and the only downside is having to leave when our vacation ends. The house had everything we needed and the location simply can’t be beat! Bonus, cape meares neighborhood 4th of July parade and music after. What fun!

Comfortable with great ocean views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed house. The ocean views were a calming delight. The area was quiet and we got to see elk nearby on a couple early mornings. We felt at home in the comfy furnishings and were very happy to find it clean & without air fresheners. Nice to have the wood-burning stove in the evenings. We hope to stay here again!

This beach cottage has everything you need for the prefect Oregon Coast vacation. The sound of the ocean from this location. Clam guns & shovels, crab pots, fishing poles, two bikes. Enjoy board games, puzzles and a nice wood stove if the weather does not cooperate. You can still enjoy the ocean view while keeping warm by the wood stove. Netflix, dvds, Movies or create a gourmet meal in the well equipped kitchen.

What makes this property unique

Cape Meares is a beautiful unique place for enjoying nature. Hike the many trails, bike on Tillamook Bay's South Jetty or just relax on the beach or on the deck. Cape Meares Lake offers fresh water fishing and kayaking or canoeing. Tillamook bay and Netarts bay are close by for Salmon Fishing and Crabbing. Enjoy Cape Meares Lighthouse and the famous Octopus tree or head north to the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
