Thank you for the review Raj! We enjoyed having you stay with us.
Thank you for sharing your home with us! We found the layout to work beautifully for our family with teens as it offered us both privacy as well as a comfortable space to commune for meals. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved the special touches, like the popcorn machine, board games and hot drinks selection. We were appreciative to have other common spaces to enjoy, such as the recreation centre. When we had a day of rain, we were grateful for the games and fitness room. The indoor/outdoor pool is wonderful, with plenty of space for lounging. We wish the pool opened in the morning and that we knew to bring our own beach towels.Overall 10 out of 10!

Great place for a family stay. Lots of space, very clean. Instructions host provides are thorough and clear. Close to all Horseshoe Valley Resort amenities and a grocery store. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for accommodations in the area.
Great little place! Some initial issues with booking (price discrepancy) but host assisted in sorting oht quickly. Bathroom features are dated but was still a great time.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! I'm glad we were able to quickly resolve the initial booking issue and that you had a great time overall. I appreciate your feedback about the bathroom features—we're always looking for ways to improve the space and enhance our guests’ experience. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back again in the future!
This was the perfect place for an effortless vacation with our son and his family. It is one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. The two-suite set up gave us room to gather together and privacy when needed for the younger ones. Our hosts were quick to communicate and helpful with advice on where to go for a family friendly beach. Of course, the pool was a big hit and it is nice that it was so close.A nearby grocery had everything we needed. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were and how well we slept. We are looking forward to returning.
8 ladies came to have a weekend away. Place was lovely; very clean, lots of amenities, no shortage of seating. We slept very comfortably in four separate beds. Bathrooms were clean, and we had plenty of towels. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast in the morning, including pots/pans, utensils, toasters, kettles and a coffee machine. There were lots of plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses and mugs. The location for us was perfect, as it was a 2 minute drive down the road from the Vetta spa. It was also very close to the local grocery store. Hosts were lovely and were very quick to answer any questions we had.
The living room TV remote was not functioning (likely due to dead batteries). Small maintenance details should be checked, for guest comfort and to avoid unnecessary electricity usage. The amenities building (gym, sauna, hot tub, pool) is located approximately 300–350 meters from the unit. In winter conditions—with significant snow accumulation and temperatures feeling like -15°C—this walk is quite challenging. This distance should be clearly stated in the listing. As I am six months pregnant, this was particularly difficult, and it would have been helpful to know beforehand. The sinks in both bathrooms drain very slowly. For a property priced at a premium level comparable to a five-star hotel, guests reasonably expect plumbing to be well maintained. It is important to clearly communicate that the nearest restaurants are approximately a 25-minute drive away (primarily toward Barrie). There is limited food diversity in the immediate Horseshoe Valley area, and for guests with dietary restrictions, options are extremely limited. There are no late-night convenience stores nearby. The nearest gas station is also roughly 25 minutes away. In the case of emergencies—especially for higher-risk guests such as someone who is pregnant—this distance is important to know in advance. Some instructions provided felt assumptive with emphasis on not damaging the home. Clear house rules are absolutely understandable; however, the tone can be refined to feel welcoming than cautionary.
