Came in to town for a bachelor party weekend and had a great time. Rooms were clean and nice, scenery was beautiful, and the host was very responsive. Beds were comfy but could use some more pillows. Kitchen/dining room was convenient but could definitely use a bigger fridge for people who want to bring stuff for meals. Overall great experience!

Spotless, amazing and intimate is the best way to explain this place. Me and my husband were amazed at this place with a new born. Upon entering the cleanliness blew us away. The views were amazing watching the fishermen in the Bashakill from our private retreat. The sunset in the mountains was breathtaking and a complimentary bottle of wine from the local winery down the street was included. The list goes on this is a must see and all I can say is we will be back this summer !!

Beautiful and convenient

Loved my stay here! It was sunny, clean, and conveniently located to Bashakill for birding and spotting other wildlife. Honestly had everything I needed for this much-needed, but quick, nature getaway! John, the owner, was also kind and quick to respond. Looking forward to staying here again when I need another getaway, especially when there's even more greenery all around. Note: Google Maps can lead you astray! When heading NE on Indian Orchard Rd, the road leading up to the property is on the right, not the left. You won't have a problem during the day, but I arrived at night, and it was hard to see.

Property Manager does not respond at all

The property was great minus a tonnn of bugs that fly in but you’re in the woods and there’s a fly swatter provided. There were a decent amount of large ants though that we also had to kill (at least ten) all over the unit. What was unfortunate was that on the second night a really loud alarm went off twice at 3 am and 4am. I was traveling with young children so obviously this was not great. I reached out to the property manager to ask what it was…I didn’t know if it was a break in or a carbon monoxide alarm or what. The property manager never responded. Not even during normal day time hours. I asked how to check in on the first night and property manager also never responded. I had to call VRBO to get the code sent to me. They had snacks and water available so that was nice and the property is in good shape.
