I just stayed in Wollongong for a couple of days at an excellent VRBO during my triathlon race. It has a private very clean room with a private shower, a common kitchen area where you feel the ocean breeze.It is very conveniently located close to the city center, restaurants and harbor. It is also at a very quiet and safe area.The host Deborah is really amazing, lovely, helpful and lives on site with her husband. She immediately responds to messages. She guided me traveling from Sydney to Wollongong during my first ever trip to Australia until I arrive to their place. Wonderful experience, very highly recommended. I will be back again.
