About this property

Cosy country stay in beautiful Berrima.

Our pet friendly 4 bedroom house on 5 acres, in the historic village of Berrima, offers a rural stay with plenty of room for kids and dogs to roam around.
This house offers the best sunsets and star gazing from the fire pit area while keeping you warm.
There's plenty of wildlife to watch from the comfort of the back porch, or take a stroll down to the bush and you may even catch a glimpse of our resident wombat.

Bring your mountain bikes! There is a dirt track and jumps at the back of the property on crown land.

Dogs are welcome, but please be respectful to the wildlife and our neighbours and make sure you have control of your dogs at all times.
There is rural fencing surrounding the property and although we regularly check for any breaches in the fence, there is a lot of wildlife digging under and jumping over the fence.

There is a fence and locked gate which leads down to the rear paddock where a dam is situated. Children need to be supervised at all times as the dam is a potential hazard for especially young children.

The house is situated close to Hume Hwy and can be accessed from both Mittagong exit or Medway exit. Berrima is an easy 90 minute drive from both Sydney and Canberra.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at this house. It was very clean, well looked after, and had everything we needed. This is a lovely holiday home surrounded by greenery minutes from Berrima township. The rooms are light, spacious and airy and the kitchen and bathrooms are terrific. The front and back verandahs are great for watching the wildlife and the sunsets.

We loved our stay at Berrima, this house is beautiful, bright and cosy. Beds comfy and plenty of room for the kids to run around or play in the room. Loved the decor and windows to look out onto the beautiful garden, best part was sitting around the fireplace with a vino, even our pup enjoyed lazing around. Property is huge so the kids could play soccer, and the dog could run around. Good idea to fence off the area to the dam to keep it safe, thank you. Kids however loved catching frogs in the dam in the evening with their dad. All instructions were clear on how to get in and the rules all very reasonable. Firewood easily on hand. We saw lots of bunnies around and roos in the early morning. Only suggestion would be to have a larger frying pan for cooking as we were with a group. Otherwise everything was clean, comfortable and easy. Would love to come back one day.

An absolutely beautiful stay in an absolutely beautiful part of the world

I couldn’t recommend Christina’s gorgeous farmhouse more highly. From the moment you drive through the gate, it is clear she has thought about the comfort and experience of her guests in every aspect. A gorgeous outdoor fire pit was set up for chilly nights, along with games for any kids (big or small!) to play. Inside the fire was lit and warming up the house before we even arrived. All the usual amenities were available, making our stay super easy. A small issue with the plumbing was solved really quickly, with Christina being super accessible and lovely to communicate with. The location was fabulous, just a short drive to town and Ubers available for 10-12 if you fancy a long lunch or a couple of wines with dinner. The property itself is gorgeous, and the verandah was the perfect place to sit with coffee in the misty, cold mornings, just watching the kangaroos play. The delightful, warm, welcoming space that Christina has created really needs to be experienced. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!
