Tania and Chris made our Thanksgiving getaway feel like a pampered family vacation. They were incredibly quick to respond to anything we needed and often went above and beyond. They should be Superhosts! We kept saying they had thought of everything. In the past, we’ve stayed at cottages where the kitchenware felt old and uninviting, but here everything was spotless and thoughtfully chosen. Even the soaps were plant-based and free of preservatives. The house was exceptionally clean, and the kids had a great time with all the games and toys provided. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you, Tania and Chris!
Chris and Tania are phenomenal hosts. We have never felt so papmered and taken care of at a short-term rental before. The cottage was beautifully and tastefully decorated for Christmas from a gorgeous Christmass tree, stockins to tea towels, dishes, shower curtains, etc. We were staying over Christmas with the kids and the hosts knew exactly what to do to make it etra magical for them. There were so many thoughtful little touches throughout our stay. The lower floor had tons of space to relax, play, and let the kids run around freely. There was also the cutest wood-burning stove area that felt like something straight out of a storybook. The cottage itself was spotless - and I don't use this term lightly. We had a baby with us, and for the first time ever at a rental, we had no concerns about our baby crawling on the floor or picking up crumbs, because there were none. The property also offers beautiful views of the river, greenery, and other cottages on the opposite bank, all beautifully framed by massive panoramic windows on the main level. Its location is fantastic for both winter stays (ski hills, tubing, etc.) and summer getaways. If possible, we would absolutely love to return in the summer to experience it then as well.Overall, a truly fantastic place with wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.
We can’t say enough about this wonderful place. Such a bright and airy home with a beautiful view of the river, especially from the breakfast table with the morning sun shining in.The new gas bbq made meals easy to cook and enjoy on the deck in the screen gazebo. The beds are all so comfy. We enjoyed our master room and our young guests approved the bunk beds with two thumbs up. The large family space downstairs was a hit with our grandkids who enjoyed the big screen tv, air hockey and foozeball. The basement walkout to a fenced back yard was perfect for letting our dog out safely. The s’mores cooked on the fire pit made it all perfect. The location on the river is on a quiet dead end street tucked in among the trees. The river itself was always entertaining with the ducks and geese. Some power boaters, jets skis and lots of kayaker but I wouldn’t call it busy. Very relaxing. Truly a 10 minute walk to the other end of the street and you are at the best part of Beach Area 5 where the playground and washrooms are. Perfect all around. Also can’t say enough good things about our hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay, including a little snack basket of goodies to say welcome. They were also accessible if we had any questions or needed anything. Highly recommend.

We moved up here to embrace both the adventure and relaxation of the area! We love being out in the boat and on the beach in the summer, skiing and snowmobiling in the winter and hiking and biking all year round.
