Amazing 2 Nights on the West side of Molokai

I was so pleased with this stay! Dorothy could not have been more accommodating and kind with response to my frequent questions. this was my boyfriend's and my 2nd time to Molokai, but the first time on the West end of the island. It was amazing!! Beautiful beaches, one was basically just us for 2 hours near the end of the day. The surf and waves were strong but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves just chasing the waves. We were fortunate enough to see a picture-perfect sunset the very first night. There were clouds right at the horizon line, but the weather was perfect :) We are definitely talking about coming back to this side with family. I wish there were restaurants on this side of the island.. but not an issue with the resort or condo. The only thing I can think to say that is not 100% positive, is my let down that there was no hot tub. The photos for the resort and my search filter had hot tub as one amenity I was seeking. There was no hot tub on this resort's property. The size of the unit, location, decor and supplies offered were the best and left us with no complaints!! Mahalo Dorothy, will be in touch!!

Sweet little condo with all you could need! Clean, and comfy! The grounds are beautifully kept and the view and pool are unmatched! We chatted with so many welcoming islanders and made friends with all the unexpected wildlife! Thank you Dorothy for a great stay!

Tranquil Molokai

We had a great time at Dorothy’s condo overlooking the deep blue ocean. The resort is on a beautiful beach and stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach. We loved our time there and would like to return.

Tranquility

The property was great and just steps away from a deserted beach. If you love peace, solitude and being away from the throngs of tourists in Maui, this place in Mauna Loa, Molokai is fantastic! It's also just a mile away from Papohaku State Park, which is one of the nicest beaches in all of Maui County. The condo itself is very nice and homey with pretty much everything a person or could need. Take note that there are no grocery stores on the west side of the island so stock up in Kaunakakai once arriving from the airport.

Everything we hoped for!

Our stay was everything we hoped for! Our unit was well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed (in fact when I mentioned we used a blender every day Dorothy provided two blenders in case one didn't work just to make sure we were taken care of!). The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep each night after watching the sunset from our lanai. It was the respite we needed from the busy-ness of our normal lives. Even with the quiet & solitude - the wifi and cel service was great so that what work was critical was easily accomplished! The beaches were beautiful and we came home with some beautiful seaglass and shells. Thank you Dorothy for a wonderful and much needed vacation! We hope to come back again! Thank you for being so responsive and for all the great information that made our trip such a success! Mahalo!

Beachfront Paradise

Unit was excellent, fully stocked, and sensational. Only cons: resort is recovering from COVID 19, restaurant and pool were closed. However, store was open a d had everything one could need. We will be back! This unit is peaceful, upgraded, and just steps to the beach. Mahalo!

Quite possibly the best secret in Hawaii

I really hate to review this condo. I don’t want it to be booked up next time I want to go. Such a beautiful location. Empty beach. Sound of the ocean. It’s own private market a hundred feet away. No crowds.

The location of the property is excellent. Closest to beach and trails ,close to pool. Everything was as expected. Molokai is not for everyone and that is the best part. Thank you Dorothy.

Paradise Found

We could not have picked a better place to stay for a few days of our honeymoon!! The condo was cozy, comfy and very well equipped but what really made it perfect was the stunning views from the back porch!! Ocean view with breathtaking sunsets!!! Very romantic!! We will definitely be back!!!

What a beautiful spot

A fantastic view and we loved hearing the waves crashing. Beautiful sunsets. The condo is a great one bedroom, bed is very comfortable and everything you need is supplied. A very quiet place with access to a pool which we took advantage of. The condo is very clean and tidy. We will definitely come back. The mosquitoes were very hungry so please take bug spray.

Best view from the lanai ever!!

This condo has such wonderful proximity to the ocean. You feel like you have your own private view from the lanai. The condo was comfortable & well-stocked. The complex was peaceful & quiet. Some buildings are vacant & waiting to be renovated, but this condo unit was lovely. Very responsive owners & a delightful experience.

A little bit of Molokai heaven

We loved our time here. Best view in the complex. The condo had everything we could possibly have needed (left over bug repellent from past guests, coolers and boogie boards, plenty of linen, etc...). This place is for people who want to get away and relax and are fairly independent, which fit us perfectly.

relaxation destination

A great 1BR condo. Probably has best location among all of the other units at the property. Want to watch gorgeous unobstructed sunsets? You can do so on your patio. Want to feel the sand beneath your toes? That's a 60 second walk. A few tips for future guests: (1) the pool was closed while we were there, so ask Dorothy if it will be open for your visit; (2) if you're arriving on a Sunday, try to get to Molokai earlier in the day. The main grocery store is closed on Sunday, although there are a few mini-marts that will have enough to hold you over until Monday (at least one liquor store is open on Sunday, as well); (3) if you're coming from another island and have room, consider bringing some of your own food over -- if you thought Maui/Kauai/Oahu prices are high, wait until you see Molokai costs (e.g., $7 for a medium-sized bag of potato chips); (4) make sure you head up the beach (to your left if facing the ocean) and hike up the little bluff. There are some well-defined paths to follow. Otherwise, simply be prepared to have a peaceful and relaxing time in this lovely condo.

Hmmm, Ok

The condo itself is nice for the price and the view is amazing. The cleaning lady was great. Almost no rental on the island has air conditioning. However it would be nice if a box fan or two was provided. It was a sauna and made it nearly impossible to sleep. Luckily I brought my travel fan or I would have not survived the nights but even then I would wake up in a sweat. In the day you can open the front door and it lets a good breeze through but you can't do that at night. That's my reason for the average review. Also, If you are looking to stay on a beach where you can swim this is not it----very dangerous. There is a fantastic beach a few miles away in a cove that was great for swimming. Good places to eat are the Paddlers Inn and Makas. The grocery store in the main town was pleasantly well stocked for such a small town.

Quiet seclusion

I spent 9 nights at this Kepuhi Beach condo. Comfortable VERY quiet with an outstanding view. Hearing the waves crash on the beach day and night was fantastic. Great hikes north and south from the condo...don't miss the hike to the secluded (but eerie) tent camp beach south of Dixie Maru. Molokai is very unique and it took a few days to settle into the slower pace, I hope to return.
