We had a great time! The house was so cozy and had all the amenities! The fireplace was complicated, but we finally called for help & got it working! It was a very relaxing weekend getaway!
This was an amazing property. Well maintained, clean bathroom and well stocked. Fire-pit and Hot tub were nice add-on. The only negative was that the road to property is not paved, its a gravel road, so bring a 4x4 SUV to avoid any trouble, specially if its expected to rain.
Two of my friends and I came here to celebrate our birthdays this year by being together. We talked, played games, went to some pottery places and explored downtown Helen. The property was perfect for us each to have our own bedroom. We enjoyed the mountain air, the firepit, and just laughing and talking. Wish we could have stayed a week!

Great retreat in the woods!
Two of my girls friends and I went away for the weekend to celebrate just being together and our birthdays. It was a perfect spot with plenty of room. We each had our own bedroom and played lots of games around the table and hung out in the living room to talk and catch up. The town of Helen is close by and there is lots to see and do in the area. Check out the pottery places!

Disliked: Check-in, communication
The cabin was okay overall. However, we could not pull all the way into the parking area from the driveway due to the condition of the gravel drive. There were two giant holes preventing access to the top of the drive which is an uphill driveway. The downstairs bathroom toilet was also not working during our stay.

Response from VrboOwner on 14 Dec, 2025
From the owner: “I am sorry that you had difficulty with the driveway. The issue was brought to my attention and was corrected. There is now new gravel and grading on the driveway. I was also told about the toilet, and it has been repaired as well.”
The cabin was clean, warm and welcoming. The fire pit was a great place for roasting marshmallows. The proximity to Helen and national parks made for convenience to a number of activities. We had a wonderful trip!
