Helen Cabin
The cabin was nice and nicely equipped for everyday needs. However, walking to town from the cabin would be difficult for most people.
Cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood yet is very close to downtown. Absolutely perfect, no noise, lots of trees and the cabins amenities made for a great relaxing time after exploring each day.

Cabins is nice. Could use some outside yard maintenance.
An awesome property in a prime location for visiting Helen! The cabin and all its amenities were extremely clean and all of us had a blast whether at the cabin or in Helen. Would definitely book here again on our next Helen adventure!
The house was everything that was advertised. Great spot local to a lot of things. Very quiet and out secluded. The rain and weather prevented us from getting the full view but overall, a great place to stay.

Cozy
Cozy cabin in great location. Parking wasn't as flat as the picture suggested but luckily we only had two motorcycles on this trip. Enjoyed the quiet surroundings.
This cabin is exactly as described. The views from the deck are beautiful. There were plenty of towels, and kitchen essentials. The hot tub is well maintained and was such a nice bonus. The host was easily reached when we had a quick question. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer.
This was our first time visiting Helen. We rented the cabin to stay a fa few nights. My boys loved game room and pool table. My dsughloved the hot tub. hot tub. It was an all around good trip. Great place to stay.

Weekend Getaway
Owners were very nice and accommodating to our needs. Perfect mini vacation with friends. Home was very nice! My only complaint is that it is a good ways to walk to town! There is a huge hill! We used a Alpine taxi which Doug was great!

Thank you for your review and note about the hill. The cabin is 330 ft above the city, and this is gained through 1/2 mile distance from the main road. The distance to the city is about one mile, easy walk down, and cheap cab ride up unless you want to excercise the Helen dinner away with the uphill walk.

The home had plenty of space and was in a good location. Only downsides we could think of was the couches were worn out and uncomfortable and the shower in Master Bedroom was very small.

Thank you for your review, I will check the furniture, including couches weekly, and will replace as needed.
The upstairs shower is standard size, the bathroom with Jacuzzi is large. The downstairs shower part is custom made and larger.
Thank you for your feedback.
My husband and I stayed here with my boss, his wife and another couple for the last weekend of Octoberfest and it was just perfect. The view is amazing and the home is stocked with pretty much everything you would need. It is a little far to walk to town but it was still close enough. We would definitely rent this home again.
Thanks so much!

Thank you for the review. I would like to have you again as a guest as well. Cabin is secluded, but still close. Cab rides are alternative and easy to get in Helen if the walk feels long.
Great proximity to the Main Street in Helen and Tubing launches. Lots of great beer gardens and German food! The house is really easy to get to on paved road . Was a bit warmer in the house than we were used to - bring an extra fan if you like to sleep cool in the hot summer. No easy walk to Main Street as described. Sleeping quarters are upstairs and downstairs for those with any mobility issues.

Good Weekend
My family of 6 enjoyed our stay here. The master suite is very large, has a beautiful view, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the privacy of the cabin and the beautiful views. The 2 downstairs bedrooms were small, as well as the bathroom, which all 4 of our children were supposed to share. Our oldest jut ended up using our shower and the main level half bath instead. The kitchen was spacious nd the kids loved the hot tub. The owner we very helpful and always prompt in his responses.

We enjoyed the cabin so much and truly appreciated being accommodated at such a late booking. The cabin was beautiful inside. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is not allergy friendly. As soon as you walk into the cabin, you smell a strong floral air plugin. When your traveling with children and family with allergies smells like these cause havoc. Other than some headboard dust bunnies and the air freshener, we had a lovely time.

Integrity with the owners
We had a few issues and the owners sent someone out straight away each time.
That spoke volumes.
I did not like the hot tub in full sun (but that’s a personal preference).
The basement was our favorite!! Huge game room, 2 bedrooms, and a small full bath was delightful.
There isn’t a “yard” for kids to run around and that was a disappointment, but not enough to sway me from enjoying what we had.
Good place to stay and close to town. Wonderful!!

Outstanding
We were there for a family Labor Day weekend get away. The cabin is exactly as described. It was perfect. The hot tub was big and accommodated our big crew. The only minor issue I had was that the grill needed some serious attention. I was able to work around it after cleaning it due the mess of the prior guests. Down the road I would look at replacing it. Again a very minor issue. We had a great time. Nothing like watching Georgia beat Clemson while in a cabin in the North Ga mountains. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

Thank you for the review and heads up.
The grill has since been replaced, and the cabin has been good gathering point for families in the past as well!
Welcome back!
