We would give this VRBO home 6 stars if we could! It met and exceeded our expectations, and we were so pleased with everything. Communication was great, and we felt safe in a convenient area of the city. We would definitely come back if visiting the city again in the future!
Very easy check in and out process. Was exactly as described. Very clean and in a great location.

The home is well done and amenities are good. Please add a can opener to your kitchen appliances. All the main door lock code did not seem to be working well. A few times the door could not open despite using the right code and the lock code wasn't locking the door. One main feedback from us: Host reached out to me via vrbo inbox asking me to interac a damage deposit fee of 250. I told her vrbo indicated all payments go via website. We had a back and forth which ended up with her admitting her fault. I felt like a scam and I hope other guests have not experienced the same.

Hello Harriet, thank you for your review and for booking with us.
Regarding the door, it works once the door is pulled toward you so the lock can slide into place. The weather here sometimes causes slight expansion and contraction which can make the lock not slide into place properly. This is easily rectified when you pull the door toward you so it closes properly and then press the lock button. Also, if you type in the door code more than 3 times consecutively, the code will stop working for you because it’ll think you’re trying to break in.
Regarding the $250 deposit, I was not trying to scam you, I explained to you that I always collected a refundable deposit upfront with screenshots of this on the Vrbo website and I have not had any issues so far, but during our exchange I confirmed with Vrbo that they handle deposits directly. That was the source of the confusion so no I was not trying to scam you of your $250.
Regarding the can opener, I would have appreciated you reaching out to me as I wrote in the check in information. I meant it when I wrote in there that if you’re missing anything, let me know and I’ll provide it. We usually have a can opener there but things tend to go missing or misplaced sometimes after some guests leave. I would have provided directions on what to do with the doors as well if you reached out.
Hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We truly appreciate it.
