The Space:
Maris by Stay Waiheke is a newly completed designer home set up for effortless holiday living. Light pours into the open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area upstairs, where sliding doors pull back to create an easy flow to the outdoor deck and heated pool. The Neighborhood:
Maris puts you right in the heart of everything that makes Oneroa so loved.
A short walk brings you to Oneroa Village, an easy, relaxed seaside strip with cafés, boutiques, and everyday essentials. Grab a morning coffee from Waiheke Island Coffee Roasters, pick up pastries from Vino Vino Bakery, or wander down to Oneroa Beach for a swim.
For lunch, head to Aperitivo for handmade pizza and wine with sea views, or settle into Solar Eating House for a long, slow island lunch. Dinner options are even better, The Oyster Inn for coastal classics, Vino Vino for sunset views, or the award-winning Mudbrick and Cable Bay, both only a short drive away.
Everything you need, beaches, food, shopping, wine, and essentials are close, walkable, and effortless.
Getting Around:
You’re perfectly placed to explore the island without needing a car. The nearest bus stop is just a short walk from the house, making it easy to arrive by ferry and roll straight into holiday mode.
Jump on the bus with all the other holiday-makers and follow the island’s winery loop — it’s a fun, laid-back way to explore without navigating roads or parking. Many of Waiheke’s biggest names have bus stops right outside their gates, including:
Mudbrick – incredible views and perfect for a long lunch
Cable Bay – sculpture lawn, wine flights, and sunset tastings
Stonyridge – a fan favourite where you can laze on beanbags overlooking the vines
Tantalus – home to one of the island’s best degustation lunches
Wild Estate – great wine, food, and outdoor lawn games
Hop on and off all day, the buses run frequently, and the routes connect easily with beaches, Oneroa Village, the grocery store, and the passenger ferry.
If you prefer to drive, onsite parking is available at the property.
