We had a lovely stay overall. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped — plenty of room for five of us, with clean linen, fresh towels, and all the essentials we needed for a weekend away. It had a warm, homely feel which made it easy to settle in.The general living areas were tidy and well-presented, though we did notice a few areas that could use some attention, such as the dusty “fairy aquarium,” leftover wedding décor, and the deck, which had quite a few loose palings. The bathroom door handle was also a bit wobbly.The front entry could be made more welcoming — a few fresh plants or less clutter at the gate would really lift the first impression.The location was great — a quiet suburb and only about 20 minutes to most of our weekend plans, including Floriade. Despite a few minor maintenance issues, it was a great base for our group and we appreciated the homely touches throughout.
