Disclosures
The majority of the properties in the Winter Park area do not have A/C due to the cooler climate. The resort base closes during the off seasons in the spring and fall but the downtown area remains open year round. A complete list of our discounts and optional services can be viewed on our website. Our designated pet friendly properties have a pet fee of $49 nightly with a 2 dog max. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds and must be crated if left alone. Additional fees will apply for non-compliance. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am Daily. The hosts were amazing and VERY responsive. The only thing we would comment on was the mattresses. They gave everyone backaches. They would go away mid morning so not a big deal. Other than that the place was amazing, location perfect!

This rental DID NOT meet the description or my expectations. Firstly, the sleeping arrangements. We booked a condo for 8 people that featured a king, two queens, and a pull out couch. When we booked this property in November, the images showed two queen beds side by side. Instead of two queens, what we got was two FULL beds, as a bunk bed, despite the listing stating (even today) that two queen beds would be in the unit. Additionally, we noticed the sign by the door that said the max occupancy was 6 people. Secondly, the kitchen. When we checked into the condo, we noticed a horrible smell, and had to open the doors to air the condo out. We then got to unpacking and starting dinner. We had the oven set to 425* and were using some of the burners. At this point, the oven shut itself off. Luckily, my husband is an electrician and immediately checked the breaker box. Sure enough, the oven had tripped the breaker. This happened at least 20 more times that night. During this time, we also found that the garbage disposal was broken, and there was rotting food stuck in the drain, which was causing the rancid smell. Additionally, the refrigerator tripped. Thankfully, we think we caught it, but all of these things amount to a barely functioning kitchen. The primary reason I booked this condo instead of a hotel was so that we could cook our own meals. While there were some positives, like the location, decor, hot tub, etc, the negatives outweighed the potential benefits.

The listing accurately reflects the sleeping arrangements: the unit features a king bed, a queen bed, and a queen-over-queen bunk bed, which is clearly stated in the written description and shown throughout the photo gallery (including the bunk configuration). At no point has the listing advertised two standalone queen beds side by side. The home is listed to accommodate up to eight guests using all available sleeping surfaces, consistent with the listing details. Regarding the kitchen concerns, we were not notified during the stay about the disposal or electrical issues, which limited our ability to address them in real time. Had we been made aware, our local team would have responded promptly, as guest comfort is a top priority. These items have since been reviewed to ensure everything is functioning properly for future stays. We appreciate the feedback and are always working to improve the guest experience.
