Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a few things that need updating around the house (new towels) and the bunk bed wasn’t secured to the wall. The keypad did not consistently work each time so I think that needs to be looked into. It’s a quick drive into town and to the tram which was a plus!

We had a great stay. The yard was immaculate, hot tub & pool were great, view of the mountains was stunning. The house was much what we expected from the listing. Easy to live in and totally clean, cute, and tidy. It was away from the downtown area, which suited us just fine. There is a house under construction across the street. We introduced ourselves to the neighbors and they were completely polite and helped us figure out trash day. In all a terrific introduction to Palm Springs and a nice relaxing respite from the cold winter we’ve been experiencing back on the East Coast. Communication was with an AI app, but it answered all our questions immediately and accurately. No complaints whatsoever.

I’m sharing this review to help future guests make an informed decision regarding their safety.Upon arrival, I had immediate and serious concerns about the surrounding area. After assessing the situation, I contacted local law enforcement and was advised to leave the area immediately for my safety. Based on that guidance, I vacated the property, did not check in, and did not stay.The property did not fully match the listing photos or description, and there were no exterior lights on when we arrived around 7:00 PM, leaving the property completely dark. Given the condition of the neighborhood, this was especially concerning.That evening, I attempted to contact the host/property management company multiple times through the VRBO app, by phone, and via their direct email to express my concerns. I did not receive a response until the following morning. Because I did not feel safe staying there, I was forced to secure alternate accommodations elsewhere.I requested a cancellation and refund due to safety concerns, lack of timely communication, and discrepancies with the listing. Instead, I was given inconsistent responses from multiple representatives without any clear resolution. This runaround was time consuming and significantly impeded on my limited vacation time.

Positives are hot tub/pool, mountain view, convenient location to downtown and hiking, new appliances, comfortable beds. There were some snafus with the locks and getting into the house. Wished for a coffee maker with coffee, bedside lamps, more comfortable chairs and cushions for the patio furniture. The house looks like it was quickly remodeled and many things are not quite right, especially vinyl flooring, screen door. The manager and cleaner were quick to help with issues.
