A great two storey family beach house that sleeps up to 11 people. It is an older style house with lots of light filled-spaces.
The master bedroom downstairs has a queen size bed, with two bedrooms upstairs - one with 2 sets of single bunk beds and the second with a single over double bunk. All bedrooms have built in robes.
Downstairs is the lounge, kitchen and a separate family room, lots of light filled space for the family to stretch out! The lounge has a digital TV with USB input, built in DVD player, free wifi access and a wood heater for cool winter nights. With decks on both the front and back plus a BBQ, the property is perfectly suited to casual entertaining.
In the back garden is an additional separate bungalow, with a double bed, vanity, shower and toilet.
The property is in a great location, very close to the main central beach. There is ample parking on the flat driveway for a few cars or a boat and trailer. The yard is fully fenced and well behaved outside-only pets are allowed.

- Guest Access
You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.
- Neighbourhood
Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approximately 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory.
The property is located close to the main beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. Waratah Bay Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events.
Launch your boat at Shallow Inlet, just a short 5 minute drive. It's famous for wind surfing, kite surfing and fishing.
The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, petrol, gas, bottle shop and an Australia Post outlet.
A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade (seasonal).
Playgrounds, Tennis courts (equipment can be hired from the General Store), Half basketball court & public bbq areas are located next to the Sandy Point Community Centre.
The Sandy Point Community Centre hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer.
Sandy Point is a great base for exploring the local region. With Wilsons Promontory a short drive away, you can enjoy a range of short and long hikes that include breath taking beaches, rivers and wildlife encounters.
The historic towns of Fish Creek, Walkerville, Foster, Toora and Meeniyan are an easy drive away, offering outstanding local produce, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and wineries.
Also in easy reach is the historic Cape Liptrap Lighthouse and Walkerville Lime Kilns at the famous Magic Beach, Walkerville South.
The Great Southern Rail Trail (131kms) runs from Nyora to Yarram and can be accessed at Fish Creek, it's ideal for biking or walking.
- Getting Around
Sandy Point is a lovely Village to stroll around, however getting beyond this you will need your own car.
- Other things to note
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
