Your private paradise in Val-des-Monts!
Just 20 min from Gatineau and 30 min from Ottawa, this cozy kid- and pet-friendly cottage is the perfect place to unwind with family or friends, all year round. A magical retreat for nature lovers!
Watch a movie or play video games on the home theatre, play poker or pool, relax by a fire with forest views. In summer, kayak on Lake McGregor and enjoy the BBQ patio with private pool.
With a fully equipped kitchen, it's the ideal spot to create unforgettable memories!
Inside Features:
Step into a bright, open concept main floor designed for comfort and connection. The living room features a cozy fireplace, forest views through large windows, a reading nook, and a 3 in 1 poker/bumper pool table that converts into extra dining space for 6-8. The fully equipped kitchen seats 7-9 and offers generous storage. A laundry room and half bath complete the main floor level.
Upstairs, the master suite is a peaceful retreat with a King bed, office desk, TV, hanging chair, walk in closet, and a spa style en suite featuring an air bath overlooking the trees—candles and Epsom salts included.
The walk out basement is ideal for families, offering a home theatre with snack bar and two sofa beds, full bathroom, bunk-bed kids room with toys and books, and hallway bunk bed. While the home theatre and hallway spaces aren’t fully private, they provide comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Outside Features:
All year round, evenings are magical around the firepit or in the hammock, surrounded by soft lighting of torches and the sounds of the forest.
During summer, enjoy the wrap around balcony with BBQ, outdoor dining space, lounge seating, and a gated pool area. Two kayaks on rolling carts are available for easy access to the nearby lake.
The pool is closed from October to April.
