The neighbors were friendly and my dog enjoyed their husky Blue. Downtown area was in walking distance and we found a river trail on the outskirts of Front Royal. We also found hiking trails within 20 minutes from the house. I liked having a record player. I bought some 45's at an antique store downtown and left them at the house so others could enjoy. Made me feel like I was back in high school.

This is a very cozy place. Nice fenced in yard was great for our dog. Close to downtown Front Royal.

This was a nice property that was well stocked. The grass wasn't cut when we arrived and the host was quick to get that accomplished. The only real complaints would be: The queen and full beds are not mattress and box spring beds, they appear to be rollaway or perhaps "pull out" beds - not as comfortable. The linens were great though. There is only a porch light in the fenced in area, so be sure and bring a flash light so you can keep up with your dogs in the yard. Additional outside lighting (flood lights, fence lights, etc) would be helpful. The last complaint was 2 parking spaces across from the entrance was a bit cramped for 2 cars and it was very dark to locate and park when we arrived in the dark as there was no lighting around the parking area. The neighbor (who shares the driveway) came out and told us not to block him in while we were trying to navigate the parking without running over the crossties blocking it out. Otherwise this is a nice property, clean, very pet friendly (loved having the yard for the pups), and perfectly located for hiking fun in and around Front Royal. I would recommend this property to others.
