Clean rental in a nice area. Temperature was controlled by upstairs guests so it was chilly but there are 2 portable heaters which help. The upstairs guests left a nasty mess on the table outside and had a non stop barking dog but Alison did her best to fix the situation. We would rent this place again.

The apartment was ready when we arrived. Very clean. It is in a quiet neighbourhood. It is close to attractions we when to. We brought our bicycles, which we left in an enclosed backyard, locked up, and were safe. It had all the amenities so it was easy to do breakfast, then leave for the day. Parking is available.

Amazing place. We were treated like royalty. Spotlessly clean. Lots and lots of dishes and towels. Comfy beds and all the necessary conveniences. Thanks Alison! I highly recommend this wonderful place.

Alison was great to deal with when we had to find a place last minute to stay. The place had been recently renovated and was very tastefully furnished. A bonus for us was that she allowed pets and that the backyard is fully fenced in. The location to Kingston amenities was also a huge plus.

While our stay was okay, I was disappointed with a few things. The listing for this property indicated it was a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. This is incorrect. The apartment only has one bathroom. Had we known that, we would have not booked. The pots that were available to use were dirty, as were a couple of the coffee mugs in the cupboard. There was also water left in tea kettle on the counter. We were told to load and start the dishwasher before leaving, but there wasn't any dishwasher detergent provided, so we hand washed and dried the dishes that we used. The towel rack in the bathroom was falling off the wall and there was no toilet paper holder. The check-in instructions stated that basic soaps were provided, but there was only an empty soap dispenser under sink and a couple of bars of soap. The temperature controls for the apartment were located in the upstairs unit, so it was quite cold. Thankfully there were a couple of space heaters provided, which helped to warm things up a bit. It was also a bit loud, since the people staying upstairs had dogs that barked every time a door was opened. We could also hear them walking around very clearly.The apartment is located down a steep set of stairs, which posed a slight problem for my friend who has knee issues.As I said, our stay was okay. The location of the apartment is great and the neighborhood is quiet.

As indicated in our listing this is a lower 2 bedroom suite with an additional pullout sofa and with one bathroom with a tub/shower. While we strive for perfection and pristine conditions , minor mistakes can happen. We do have a supply cabinet which is accessible for guest supplies in the event that we missed something. If notified we would have been happy to make the necessary arrangements to accommodate you.
