This was the second time we booked this home. It was perfect for what we needed and was very convenient to book. Cleaning the place was a breeze as we spent most of the time at my daughter's house which was 5 minutes down the road.
Tucked away in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is just a hop, skip, and a jump from both downtown North Augusta and Augusta. A variety of restaurants and coffee shops are right at hand. The living area's were eclectically furnishedand the kitchen was well appointed. I'l defenitely stay here the next time I'm in the area.
The property was as advertised, great location , the host was very responsive to our needs. We especially loved the screen porch, and back patio. A friend stopped by for a visit, and came away impressed . We had stayed at another home nearby for a couple of years, and much prefer this home. We would definitely consider staying here again.
This is a sweet old house that they have decorated very well. The neighborhood was very quiet and was close to downtown Augusta, which is where we were needing to be. The beds were great and the house was well stocked with supplies. We'd definitely recommend!
This house is just like the description and pictures. House is clean, little firepit in the backyard and comfortable beds! Conveniently close to stores and restaurants. Great place to stay!
We had another great stay at this property. The house is well kept up and clean. The beds are very comfortable. We enjoy having great outdoor space and the neighbors are friendly. This is also a great location to explore the area.
The property was in an ideal location, within 15 minutes of all the places we needed to go. It was clean and well furnished. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet with a nice walking trail nearby.
Our major issue was the wifi, which worked well for the first week but started having issues in the second week. We were visiting the US with limited cell service and rely heavily on wifi for communication so this created a challenge for us.
Close to our daughter's home near Brick Pond. Cute home with all amenities and charm of the south. We enjoyed our four days there.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
I wouldn’t recommend it for older people as the entrance to the kitchen from both ends has quite a lip up also front porch could be cleaner. Also the host was not very responsive with communicating.
This bungalow was everything it was represented to be. The beds were so comfortable and I slept very well even the first night. The owner had everything I needed to accommodate my needs. It was a great location. I will definitely try to stay here again if I come back to the area. The owner is a very gracious, compassionate, and humble host who only wanted the best for her renters. Thank you for your kindness!
The cottage was a perfect size, situated in a nice quiet, safe neighborhood. It had a nice, fenced back yard, and convenient access to downtown North Augusta, Aiken and Augusta as well as the Riverfront and Brick Pond Park. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the cottage was well equipped. Aside from the expected supplies, there were some additional supplies such as condiments on hand which proved handy. The property was as described, and we would definitely plan to stay there again.
Macey was amazing. She made everything easy. Made us feel extremely welcomed before, during, and after our stay. The space was a beautiful. Everything was clean, everything was more than I expected it to be, and I would definitely be booking another experience. Great first time rental!
Lovely circa 1940's cottage in a charming neighborhood in North Augusta near shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds and well lit interior, clean and fully fitted kitchen. Beautiful tree lined fenced backyard with a fire pit and seating... table and chairs under shelter a great place to sit with your coffee to begin the day, listening to the early birds each morning. Very restful. Just 5 minutes away from the Harbor Riverwalk area. Highly recommend.
The place was easy to find and get checked into. The decor is charming--some mid-Century Modern but also eclectic. There's a nice screened-in porch that would be enjoyable in temperate weather. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. Toilet and sink in the bathroom looked brand new. The mattress and pillows are super comfy and the linens and towels are high quality and plentiful. Keurig coffee is provided, which is always a bonus. I had trouble with the Wi-Fi; I kept getting kicked off and sometimes the house's network wasn't even listed. Usually a router reboot solved the problem and sometimes just waiting, but it was a little bit of a pain. There are plenty of outlets for electronics. I'm curious about the high cleaning fee--80--since the guest is expected to strip beds and towels and of course wash all dishes (not unusual). In addition the guest is asked to empty the dehumidifier bucket daily and on certain days take the trash bin to the curb and bring it back. I can't imagine the remaining cleaning to take much more than an hour and 80 seems like an exorbitant rate.
Location is great beds were comfortable. Our first night the neighbor had a dog and barked after 11pm. The shower had a draining issue that I left a message for the property owner. And when we checked in their was a strong decent of must in the air and you can smell humidity. I ended up sick after two nights of my stay. We were asked to empty a humidifier once a day that was filled with water from collecting the must in the air of the home. The home is definitely a old home. Not sure if there is mold in the walls. Honestly there can be a possibility due to the fact that I have gotten sick. I am being honest just because if there is someone who has high allergies to any of this issue. Other then that the home is absolutely beautiful. The humidity and the mist with heavy smell the the issue.
