Really loved the house and location, it was perfect for the purpose of my trip. I had some issues with things in the kitchen which I communicated directly with the team and had a prompt and positive reply. Definitely would come back and stay again.

The location was great for us and the property was an amazing find. We had a very relaxing trip. The check in process was smooth & we were kept well informed about the property. The only thing at the end was that we couldn't find the red bin or any of the bins outside. We emailed the property managers and it seemed to be ok.

This is a beautiful property in a fabulous and quiet location (despite the proximity to the train line). It is perfect for a quiet retreat where you are nice and close to everything you need, but with privacy and a tranquil setting surrounded by nature. We loved our mini break. Our only concern is that property management company need to pay attention to some small details in order to convert this to an excellent rating.

We're delighted you loved your mini break and found the setting so private and tranquil, surrounded by nature while still close to everything you need. Thank you for your feedback on the finer details. Our rental agreement asks guests to report anything that needs attention during their stay, so our team has the chance to address it. We look forward to hosting you again.

We stayed in the house in Mid October. No complaints. The wood fire is a nice inclusion. Its a bit quirky with an interesting design and unusual furnishings/decorations. It is close to the railway line and based on some of the reviews we were expecting a lot of train noise but it wasn't an issue and we enjoyed seeing a steam train come trundling past each day! We didn't bring a pet and were thinking that there might be pet smells / hair etc ... but again, no issue ... the place was very clean and there was no evidence of the "pet friendly status".
