Great location, walking distance to beach and downtown. Had beach chairs, wagon and umbrellas all for use. Super helpful for our first time visiting and not knowing for sure what all to bring.

We had five people, three kids and two adults, and this place worked well. For any more than that, you might wanna place with a second shower. This is 1.5 bathrooms. It's extremely well located, both to the beach and downtown South Haven. The bottom floor isn't spacious, but the beds were comfortable and the top floor was great. That felt very roomy. This rental includes access to an indoor pool and hot tub. The unit was clean and close to a meijer. We would consider renting this again.

Amazing stay and perfect for families with young children!

The vacation rental was amazing and so perfect for our family! The toys, pack and play, and high chair were a huge hit with our 10 month old baby! We loved our stay and the location was perfect for access to town, restaurants, shops, and the beach! Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Great Condo!

Every aspect of this condo either met or exceeded expectations; from the ease of booking, check-in, check-out, amenities, location, cleanliness, etc. Our family of 6 had a great stay!

Great family getaway condo!

We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! The condo was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. Our young daughters loved the bunk beds and stock of toys. It was very easy to get to the beach and downtown south haven. The host was incredibly responsive when I had questions before our stay and made themselves easy to get ahold of if we had issues during our stay. Highly recommend for families, we will certainly book again!

The condo's location is great! Close to downtown and to the beach. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The toys in the condo were a hit with our 3 year old and they enjoyed the bunk beds. Looking to stay here again for future trips.

Perfect Location + Family Friendly

The hosts are so friendly, responsive, and have added so many thoughtful touches to this condo. The location is perfect! It’s close enough to walk to the restaurants, shops, and beach with a view of the river too. The indoor pool was a highlight for my six year old son. This was our first visit to South Haven and we will definitely be back! :)

Family blueberry fest vaca on black river …

Enjoy our stay at harborside condos…. Great views of the black river. Spent many nights sitting on upper deck. Close location to downtown and beach. Sectional couch and large dining table were great for dinners and catching up. Beds were very comfy and spacious. Samantha a pleasure to work with.

Cozy, clean and will stay again

Very nice cozy condo, clean and quiet location. Central to beaches, downtown and restaurants. Parking right outside the door. I appreciated the small decorative details - very thoughtful. We forgot some spices...and the host had them on hand in the cupboards. Great if you are traveling with toddlers.

Wonderful Stay!

If you're traveling to South Haven with kids, I 100% recommend staying here. Not having to pack toys or seperate dishes for our 3 young kids made packing for vacation that much easier. Samantha waa quick to respond to messages and even let us know when the condo was ready for our arrival (a couple of hours early!) We were able to walk downtown every evening from the location and it was very quiet. Our kids loved sitting on the deck and watching the boats go in and out. We will definitely try to stay here again when we return next summer!

Excellent stay for families near beach

This property is in a perfect location, walkable to the beach and the town. We enjoyed using the pool and sitting on the balcony, using the BBQ, and watching the boats go down the river. The apartment was well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. We particularly appreciated the beach cart, chairs and umbrella. Our children are a bit older now, but we also noticed how well the apartment is set up for babies/toddlers. We would have loved this when ours were younger. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I'm so glad you had a wonderful stay! We keep adding things that we find helpful or need ourselves for our guest to use (chairs, beach cart, wagon etc) because we know it's a pain to pack all of those extras. I'm so happy you appreciated those things too!

Love South Haven

What a gem! We had such a nice week in South Haven. Amazing location. Walking distance to several public beaches. Short drive to South beach and shopping. Condo was absolutely perfect for my mom and I and my 3 small children. I liked the separation with the bed rooms down stairs and main living space upstairs so my baby could nap. Host had lots of toys that kept my kiddos interested all week. Would definitely recommend and would consider staying there again! Thanks for sharing your home.

The perfect home for our family

I love so many things about this home! It’s in a great location to walk to the beach or downtown. Within 5 minutes or so we could be at some of our favorite places: Packard beach, Capt Lou’s, or Rocket Arcade. The home is the perfect size for a family of 5, and even better that it has a washer/dryer and a king-sized bed. It’s incredibly clean and was recently updated since our previous stay last year. I love how relaxing this home is…it’s decorated simply but not bare, and feels fresh and airy. Our family may take a year off from vacationing in South Haven, but we will definitely come back to this home.

I’d give this six stars if I could.

Stayed with my tween and teen. We had plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. Location is easy and ideal, space is bright and clean, pool and hot tub were enjoyed daily. No littles in my group but it would have been easy to vacation here with small kids both with space and kids items supplied in the unit. My teenager midweek complimented my vacation planning skills because “this is the perfect spot.” That probably makes it a 7 star review.

Everything necessary

I could have left an entire bag at home. I did not need paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, tissues, soaps and shampoos, dishwasher and dish soaps. You name it, they had it including the coffee!

A great place to stay!

My family loved staying at this property! The condo is everything I want in a rental, and then some. It was clean, very well stocked, had a washer/dryer, and was just the right size…so many rentals near the beach are either huge or tiny. The outside sitting areas with harbor views and a king-sized bed make the place very comfortable, and the indoor pool was a great option on red-flag beach days or when you need a break from the sun. I especially loved the location. Even with three kids in tow, the walk to Packard Beach was only 5-7 minutes. The walk to North Beach is longer, but still manageable at 15 minutes. We were able to easily walk to dinner at Capt. Lou’s and to the arcade too. Communication with the owners was great, the check-out list was short and simple, and the labels throughout the house answer just about any question that renters might have. I am so glad that we chose this location for our vacation!!

South Haven and surrounding area getaway

We stay at A LOT of rental properties. Some are new or newly remodeled and some are older. However, what makes a great rental unit stand out is its cleanliness, roominess (for your needs), amenities, and location. This place checked all the boxes. It was one of the cleanest rentals we've stayed in. It had more than enough room (even though it was just for the 2 of us, we could have easily had our 4 kids along). The unit was stocked with everything we needed and more and we cooked every night. Finally, it was in a perfect location so that we could get on our bikes and check out the town, the trails, and close enough to drive to Holland, Saugatuck, G.R., K-Zoo, etc. Overall, this was one of the most perfectly hosted rental units I can recall in a long time. Great job owners!
