Check in was easy, communication was easy. The only thing I was not 100% sure on was when checking out it said put the towels in a designated spot I didn’t see a designated spot. Hopefully where I put them was fine. The stay was great we would definitely stay again!
Centrally located near the coast, Edgewater is a very quiet old Florida style town with a Winn Dixie, Publix, Dunkin and Chick Filá along the main drag. US Hwy 1 runs North to Daytona and South to Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach . New Smyrna (NSB) is an easy short drive over the causeway to the East for the beach vibe, cafes or dining out. We drove from Orlando just an hour West. For those seeking peace and quiet though, this is the perfect home located in one of if not the nicest neighborhood in town just off of the Riverside drive walking path along the Indian River. There was a boat launch in a near by park. I loved the books on Florida and the history of Edgewater available for reading. This home was cozy and decor was classic beach style with lovely details. The full beds were comfortable with an extra twin in the front bedroom closet. The bathroom was small but functioned well. We did not use the full kitchen to cook meals only small reheats but there were nice plates, cups, drink glasses and silverware (not just the stray kind in some short term rentals). The backyard furniture was very nice and well cared for; perfect for a family to relax in while enjoying the Endless pool. Only hiccup was the pool must have been shocked just before we arrived but the PH was not balanced as it bleached my bathing suit and my son’s shirt. If we had more time we would have asked about the bikes. Thanks for a nice stay!
