Nearby Amenities And Activities
You are a 2-minute walk to multiple restaurants, a grocery/bakery/gift store, and a golf simulator which houses a licensed bar, pool tables and darts. We are also conveniently located across the street from a health centre which offers physio, acupuncture, and chiropractic services.
Five minutes away, you have access to a large city park with pools, tennis, and Pickleball courts, and a scenic 10 km recreational trail that winds through the countryside for biking, running, and walking enthusiasts. If car racing is your thing, we are just down the road from the Cornwall Motor Speedway, which runs Spring-Fall.
Within a 20-minute radius, enjoy Cornwall’s beautiful waterfront trail bordering the St. Lawrence River, drive through the Long Sault Parkway and stop for a swim/rent a kayak, or drive a little farther and spend the day at our historic Upper Canada Village. If it’s an indoor swim you’re looking for, definitely take a trip downtown to the Aquatic Centre, where the whole family can enjoy a large heated pool and hot tubs.

A recent review from a stranded friend prior to opening on Airbnb:
“You know those old stories of a weary traveller needing shelter in a storm? Well, it actually happened to me. I work in Kingston during the week, but every Friday I drive up the 401 to my family in Montreal and recently I was caught in an awful snowstorm. At first, I tried to power through it, but by the time I hit Cornwall, I couldn't see the lanes. I realized it wasn't worth the risk. Unfortunately, there were no hotels available and I was facing the possibility of sitting in a Tim Horton's for the night, waiting for the storm to pass. On a whim, I texted a good friend who grew up in Cornwall and asked her if she knew anyone who hosts or rents rooms. As luck would have it, she did - and it saved my night. She sent me to Jennifer's newly renovated space and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a nicer place. It has a great eating and living space, a comfortable bed, hot shower, full kitchen and laundry. The space was clean, modern, with brand new appliances. I appreciated a couple of small details like a variety of books for all ages if you were travelling with your kids. A big TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. Qtips in the bathroom - something I always forget to bring. And Jen even brought me something to eat! It was really one of those moments in life that reaffirms your belief in humanity. I was so tired from driving and she really helped me out and let me recover for the rest of the trip in the early morning. I highly recommend the apartment not only because of the great person running it, but the space itself. It's private, has lots of parking space, and it's just off the highway. It's perfect for business travellers or couples. It's nice to know that if I'm in need of a place between Kingston and home that I can book Jennifer's and have a stress free night. Thanks Jen!"
With that being said, we cannot wait to host you!
