For a wonderful holiday with family or friends, head up into the hills and discover the stunning landscapes of the Montagne Noire; go for walks in the forest around the reservoirs of the Canal du Midi; visit our village—a former Cathar castrum—the medieval town of Saint-Papoul, the Cistercian Abbey of Villelongue, the Cabrespine Chasm, the medieval city of Carcassonne, Toulouse and the Cité de l’Espace, the Canal du Midi and its museum, Lake Saint-Féréol, the market in Revel, and much more... Enjoy magnificent hikes, horseback rides, or mountain biking. After a full day, return to your 165-square-meter home to enjoy the pool and its relaxation area under the oak trees. Situated on the southern foothills of the Montagne Noire at an elevation of 500 metres, it is 15 minutes from Castelnaudary, the world capital of cassoulet, 30 minutes from Carcassonne, and 50 minutes from Toulouse. Renovated in a contemporary style, it features an entryway leading to a living room with a large-screen TV and a bioethanol fireplace, as well as a modern, fully equipped kitchen/dining room. A hallway leads to a sleeping area with two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom/toilet and walk-in closet. A spiral staircase leads upstairs to two additional air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom/toilet and walk-in closet. The 160- and 180-beds can be separated. Outside, there is a 700 m² lawn with access via an automatic gate, a shaded carport for two vehicles, a large shaded patio with tables and chairs, a barbecue area, and an outdoor corner lounge for cocktail hours. At the back of the garden, hammocks and lounge chairs are perfect for relaxing naps in the shade of the oak trees. On the south side of the house is a 6m x 3m swimming pool, completely secluded from view. A haven of tranquility for an unforgettable stay.
