About this property

A Private Family Compound On Lake Joesph With 215 Feet Of Waterfront

Our unique and secluded property is a15 min drive from the Town of Rosseau and 40 minutes from Port Carling.

There are 3 cottages on the property. The main cottage has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a large open living and dining room and kitchen. There is a working fireplace in the living room. There is a deck overlooking the lake with a dining table and barbecue. Relax in the Muskoka room with a morning coffee! There is a washer and dryer located in the basement of the main cottage. The main cottage has A/C and a working furnace.

The other 2 cottages are 2.5 bedrooms. We say there is a half bedroom because it also holds a shower - yes it is a bit of an odd design. Both of the other 2 cottages have a sitting area, small kitchen and dining area. Both have 3 single beds and 1 double.

There is a boathouse roof to relax with you and your guests down by the water. In the boat house there is a drinks fridge so you do not have to wander far from the water. Enjoy the water trampoline and the standup paddle board. We have both a small beach and deep water entry. Deck chairs are on the dock by the swim area so you can watch your littles one play!
We also have a generator which hopefully you will not need but if you do - we have you covered:)

We have Mosquito Buzz , an environmentally friendly company, spray for mosquitos so you may sit outside in peace.

Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful time at the lake house! The main house was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The 2 cabins were rustic but worked out well since we were vacationing with multiple families. Lake Joseph is beautiful and just how we all remembered it. The boat house deck and water toys kept the kids busy all day. Thank you for having us and we look forward to coming back

Amazing property

Had the best time with our family and friends. Great location and set up well to host 2 families. Boathouse with upper deck is our favourite feature! Great swimming and fishing. Host was awesome and answered all out questions! Karen

Our stay was great and our family had a fun time! A little bit of a cleanliness issue when we arrived but the person managing the property let us know it was because there was a new cleaner. Besides that our family highly recommendeds these cottages!!!

Muskoka Family Getaway

We have rented in Muskoka for the past 4 years - typically on lake Rosseau. However this location and property were perfect for our family. The description of the property was bang on and great to accomodate a large family - we however only had 6 members with us. The use of two additional cabins were ideal for teenagers to allow them to have their own space. But having us all gather in the main cottage for meals, games and movie nights. Our favourite spot would definelty be the boathouse roof top. We spent most mornings having our coffee there. And afternoons jumping into the lake to cool off - or just enjoyed some water actitives. At night we star gazed and had the opportunity to watch the meteor shower. Our family throughly enjoyed our time and would definelty rent this property again. Thank you Adam and Amy for letting our family enjoy your family's cottage.
